My visit to Queens Park Botanical Gardens in Maryborough left me thoroughly impressed. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and they offer captivating vistas of the River Mary. Strolling through the well-kept pathways provided a sense of tranquility, and the views added an extra layer of charm to the experience.

One highlight that truly caught my attention was the WW1 memorial. It's not just a monument, but rather an evocative tribute that adds historical depth to the surroundings. The way it's integrated into the gardens pays homage to the past while also reminding visitors of the significance of remembrance.

The combination of nature's beauty and the thoughtful design of the memorial created a unique and captivating atmosphere. It's evident that a lot of care goes into maintaining the gardens and preserving the historical elements.

Whether you're seeking a leisurely stroll, a spot for reflection, or a chance to connect with the local history, Queens Park Botanical Gardens is an ideal destination. The captivating views, well-maintained greenery, and the meaningful WW1 memorial make it a truly...

Queen's Parks is a gorgeous location. It is amazingly well kept by the council and all parts of it, including bathrooms and drinking bubblers, are all very well maintained. The park always seems perfectly clean and beautifully green. Great place to hang out with friends, or to take a walk by yourself. Many places to sit and eat, and equal as many different paths to take a stroll, whether it be by the riverbank, or above the old railway lines and into a beautiful water garden. And don't forget the historical and artistic monuments and pieces throughout the park. Great place in any weather and season. Be sure to visit it the second you get the...

Had a lovely time at Queen's Park! It's got this great mix of pretty gardens and some really interesting war memorial stuff. The paths are easy to walk on and you can just take your time checking everything out. What I really liked was how they've done the memorial bits - doesn't feel heavy or sad, just respectful, you know? There's heaps of local history scattered around which was pretty cool to read about. Perfect if you want somewhere quiet to chill out or if you're into that sort of historical thing. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area - nice change of pace from the usual...

Fantastic park with a huge open grassland space, several walking tracks and lots of statues commemorating those who fought in the war. Very well maintained area and a beautiful war memorial towards the main road. Lovely views over the river too and beautiful for walking. Dogs are allowed on leash and there were plenty of shaded areas under the trees too. Would highly recommend visiting here for a picnic or a short walk.

A beautiful place to relax and walk among old trees and historic artifacts from the days of early colonisation. There are plenty of tables and benches to rest or picnic. Incredible views of the Mary River and the old port facilities. The Duncan Chapman Anzac memorial is also located in Queens Park and is a must see attraction. All this just a few minutes walk from the CBD
