It is worth a stop here, however parking can be difficult at times, but don't let that deter you. Seating is plentiful, you can choose from tables for 2 up to small groups of maybe 6, both inside and al fresco. Parkside has a very relaxed atmosphere, it feels inviting and the smell of freshly ground coffee in enticing. The Staff are delightful, very helpful, friendly and fast. The menu is great, with plenty of appetising options. However, I found the food was safe and not exciting. They offer typical cafe options, that are the same in every cafe in the main street. We are rapt to have discovered this delightful cafe!!! We were about to drive away from Maryborough thoroughly disillusioned with our attempt to enjoy a burger special at Alowishus Delicious that didn't exist, before we noticed Parkside on Adelaide directly across the road. What a great find!!! The atmosphere inside was wonderful and cosy with really good music that wasn't too loud, the food was delicious and really well priced, coffee was fantastic and the service was excellent too! We were very regular customer until today. We came in ordered 2 egg scrambled eggs wholemeal toast and scrambled eggs bacon and toast. The food was absolutely terrible the eggs tasted like they were cooked in a dirty frypan and the bacon was unevenly cooked from very burnt to undercooked.toast wasn't cooked at all. My 2 scrambled eggs were more like 1 very small egg. My partners meal was very small compared to other times we have dined here.
