On a sunny, cool day (today) - it is the beach to soothe your soul. Start earlier as it is quieter. Dogs off leash restrictions apply - check the board or Bayside Council website. The Promenade on the water starts here (opposite Black Rock clock roundabout) & the newer cleaner toilets are here too. Promenade walk ends at Ricketts Point North. Council parking charges apply. Try off streets - off Beach Rd for free parking.

A relatively quiet beach, with dogs allowed off-leash during certain months, but restricted during November to March. Some nice walking paths at the top of the stairs looking over the beach, and there are toilets along the path at the top. Great for allowing the dogs to let off some steam!

Super easy to get to with parking and bus access, fun for all ages with a variety of things. There is a large playground for the smaller kids, and both sandy or rocky beach area within a short distance of eachother. There's a woolworths express aswell as 7 eleven and ice cream & fish and chip places nearby. Highly recommend going here...
