Melbourne Dog Parks šŸ“Macaulay Road, North Melbourne If you live in or around Melbourne CBD and looking for a fenced dog park... this park is for you. It is a fully fenced park with plenty of space to run around, play fetch, chase other dogs. In the center there is a little area with trees for shade and benches to sit on. Has the usual amenities: bins, doggy bags and drinking taps. The area itself has some dog friendly places such as cafes and restaurants, even a pet store around the corner. The Lost Dogs home is right across the road, you can adopt a pup to bring to this park and take home. Only downside is that it can get quiet busy since it is one of the only fenced dog parks close to the CBD. And if your dog is friendly and social, just keep an eye out on your dog, as there are the odd unsocial dogs that come here. #melbournedogparks #dogpark #offleashdogpark #fenceddogpark #bordercollie #dogsofmelbourne #dogfriendly #dogsoftiktok #fyp #foryoupage

Great spot for dogs with no recall, but I’ve lost count of the amount of dog fights I’ve witnessed here. A lot of people bring poorly trained dogs here, and because it’s a relatively small, fenced in area, there’s nowhere for dogs to escape other dogs leading to altercations. It’s in fairly neat condition but in winter the grass becomes mud, and it’s very close to lots of traffic. Would highly recommend investing in recall training with your dog so you can take it to large, freer places where it can choose to interact with other dogs and have plenty of room for solo zoomies. (My last pic is actually of one of two obese German Shepherds brought in by an owner who was on his phone. The younger male was constantly nipping and biting, aiming for other dogs’ throats)

Summer is the best time to take your dog to play here. The park is fenced giving you the peace of mind that your dog won’t run away. It is very grassy in summer but can get very muddy in Spring and Winter when there are lots of rain. However in some days there could be quite a lot of large dogs whereby I wouldn’t feel too comfortable to let my little dog to run freely. Also bear in mind that not all dog owners are acting responsibly , there could be lots of poop here and there not picked up by the owners.

Great little dog park with a good sense of community. Have been coming for years and it's much better now they've added some new features and trees. Pick up of poop is pretty iffy, so watch where you step. As with any smaller park this size, you will find a small number of asshats who live in apartments, have tiny yappy dogs that only get let out or walked on weekends, and are extremely precious. Hint: if you hold your dog in your arms, this is you. If your dog was bred specifically for the penthouse, maybe find another place as most dogs are here to play rather than be coddled the second they...

I don’t have a dog. My best friend got a cute little Jug (Jack Russel Pug) and now she is here every single day! So when I want to see my bestie I often find myself at this dog park. I didn’t know there was such community at dog parks! Christmas barbecues, dog birthday parties! She has made a lot of genuine friends here and I’ve discovered all about that. I had no idea! Wilson is is the biggest dog here and he’s a big slobbering gentle giant! It’s really clean as all dog owners like to look after the place. It’s a secret dog lover’s world I never knew about. Are all dog...
