Twang Brewing — Restaurant in Melbourne

I visited in March so this is a belated review but I enjoyed my time here. The owner, Matt was very helpful and knowledgeable about the range on tap as well as brewing in general. Definitely an experimental scrappy DIY vibe with small batches allowing for some fun, the chilli beer was certainly one I'd never tried before. The vibe was cosy and I wouldn't mind trying the back area in warmer times. As others have mentioned pizza can be ordered from a nearby pizzeria, it was a very good crispy match for a smaller brewer fighting against craft brewers running huge...

Great small neighborhood brewery in a quiet leafy street. We get kegs from Twang for our office, and Matt is an absolute legend, willing to go out of his way to help out. The beers are excellent, and the brewery spot is a great chill place. Pizzas from next door brought direct to the table are tasty and well priced, and a good range of beers for the size of the brewery. It would be a great venue for a private birthday party or smaller company...

A great little brewery in North Melbourne. The owner was behind the bar when we visited and was super helpful and accommodating. Great happy hour specials on beer and cocktails. A lovely backyard beer garden to enjoy a beer in the sunshine - I recommend the sour. Only negative is that all beer garden tables are tall and have bar stool seating - not easy for short folks like me. Nevertheless I'll be back to try...
