Mr Tucker — Restaurant in Melbourne

It is sad to give a bad review but it happened 3 times to me and is not good and fair for he owner. I being in the cafe and the people is not nice at all, the people barely said good morning. In my experience the workers are rude and this morning a blondie girl serving my coffee was looking with so much Ander and frustration inside of her. Is alright if they ask to the customers to wear a mark, the mandatory is in closed areas like shopping centre, this cafe has a big open door and as I saw noone were wearing a mask, not even the person who always is sitting there at the window from inside with his laptop....so please tell to your workers that to be kind is for free and everyone of us got problems but is not necessary to give that bad energy and a bad start of the day to...

When the old school bakery closed down I was really upset - but Mr tucker opening up in its place has been pretty fantastic! Their egg and bacon rolls are great and their Carmel slice is to die for (please bring it back!) good coffee and staff are really friendly. Super lucky to have it as my “local” (written in 2018)

Update on review! Mr Tucker is now open for dinner on thurs/fri/sat - went to try it out on a Friday and was so impressed with the space, the food and the vibe overall. Enjoyed a bottle of wine, the amazing honey and dukkah halloumi, and the riccotta gnocchi - and all within walking distance from home! I think we have found our new local easy dine out spot!
