Coburg Lake is an absolute gem in the heart of the city! I recently visited, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots for relaxation and outdoor activities. The lush greenery surrounding the lake creates a peaceful and serene environment, making it the perfect escape from the urban hustle. The well-maintained walking paths are ideal for a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk, and there are plenty of open spaces for picnics and gatherings with family and friends.
One of the standout features of Coburg Lake is the playground area, which is fantastic for kids. The equipment is modern and well-maintained, ensuring that the little ones can have fun in a safe environment. For those who enjoy a bit of wildlife, youโll often spot ducks and other birds near the lake, adding to the natural charm of the place.
The lake is also great for those looking to unwind with some peaceful time by the water. Whether you're reading a book, meditating, or just enjoying the view, the atmosphere is incredibly calming. There are plenty of benches and shaded areas to sit and relax, and the overall cleanliness of the park is impressive.
In summary, Coburg Lake offers a wonderful blend of nature, recreation, and tranquility. Itโs perfect for families, couples, or anyone needing a break from the fast pace of life. I highly recommend visiting, and I canโt wait to...

The tree lined avenues of elm and ash commemorating fallen soldiers from the area are poignant and beautiful to walk through. The reserve attracts a wide range of people and generations, including the large family barbeques of diverse communities on the weekends. People enjoy walking and cycling through. Every Saturday morning parkrun hold a 5 kilometre run here, open to all (whatever your pace!) I admit, I've yet to join, but I have been known to do some training in the park, and it's amazing to exercise out of doors, under the wide open skies. It's also nice to sit down and observe the water. Along with walking trails and grassy areas, the park features a number of playground areas with equipment for children to enjoy. You can also sit out on a rock on the water, if you are daring. It's a great place to spend time, whatever your age. A beautiful park, with bluestone features, and a touch of wild. This place will inspire...

A Fabulous walk with it all being sealed and very easy to yet to the other side of the Park. Lovely Old Bluestone Bridge, water flowing and lot's of Bird Life. Make sure you walk up to the lookout even though it's up hill, take your time and it's easy to do. A few Sculptures up the top, a playground and even some Big Thing Items. Walk back down the hill and across the yellow bridge and you can see more of the lake flowing. A great place to ride bikes but please USE your bell to let people know you are coming. It was different to go in the Winter and we enjoyed seeing the trees without any leaves but I'm sure it would be Beautiful in the Autumn with lovely orange leaves as well. It could easily be an all day activity and the kids have plenty of room to run around. They have toilets, seats and table & seats, so make sure you take a picnic lunch. We hope everyone gets a chance to...
