Review / Edit 3: Visited again during a 'Snappy Hour' which is free entry on a designated day between 9 - 10am New inflatables - The Minions inflatable slide and a Dragon inflatables with a play area and slide. Very busy day, food was delivered fresh to our table, coffee took a little time but under the pressure of the busy day the wait wasn't too bad. Lots for children to do. My kids love it here.
Review 2: Next visit was given wrong food and told 'thats what it is today' and floor was dirty with old food, staff talking to each other and hard to get attention for service. Makes a huge difference when visible manager is not in attendance. Ball room no longer working. Taking a star off, kids still love to go just seems to have lazy staff cleaning wise / ball room desperately needs fixing
Review 1: So I have been quite hesitant to visit Crocs because of reviews on here so was excited to take advantage of a free entry morning run by the centre and let me tell you we were not dissapointed!
This place is wonderful for children of all ages. There are areas to cater to babies, young toddlers and older children. I don't think we have ever stayed at a play centre as long as we did for our play today! There is a lovely bouncing castle in the shape of a crocodile with a slide. There is a ripple slide and oh gosh a heart stopping speed slide that I myself had quite a few goes on! They have lovely little pedal trikes and a race track for the children that goes around and through the play area. Really sturdy and fun!
There is a Muffin Break with lovely coffee in the centre. We ordered an upgraded kids nugget meal and my youngest (2) who isn't much of a chip kid gobbled down all his meal and mini muffin. I could see he really enjoyed it! Staff cleared away our table and were sweeping litter from the floor. It was very neat and tidy.
I'm unsure of the recent bad reviews but can say I am fussy with cleanliness. The toilets were clean, the childrens paid ride area was small but you could scan a code for a free ride. Parking was a little difficult but there isnt much the centre can do about that given where it is situated.
All in all we had a lovely morning full of play and had to drag the kids away to get them home. We will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for the free entey morning Crocs and the chance to visit your centre and review it...
Read moreI am writing to provide feedback regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to the playcentre. I have been attending the centre regularly over the past three weeks with a child (client) and have generally had a positive experience. However, today I encountered an issue with a male (brody)staff member, who I believe is the manager. His behaviour was quite rude and unprofessional. While I was briefly having my breakfast in the seating area, the child attempted to enter the staff café area. At that moment, the male staff member (with short hair) shouted at me in an aggressive tone and said, “You know your job,” which I found disrespectful and unnecessary. It was quite surprising that he tried to talk to me about how to do my job, yet he didn’t seem to understand his own responsibilities—especially considering he is the manager. This kind of attitude is very unprofessional and unacceptable. Instead of speaking rudely, I believe it would be more appropriate to install a small gate or barrier to prevent children from entering restricted areas. If the manager himself behaves in this manner, it sets a poor example for the rest of the staff. I also observed that the same staff member behaved rudely with other customers last week as well. Today, he returned and displayed the same unprofessional conduct again, which is very disappointing. When I politely asked for his name in order to report the incident, he refused to provide it. Because of his behaviour, I have decided that I will not return to this centre(crocs playcentre in hoppers crossing)in the future. I believe that all customers and staff deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, and this kind of conduct is not acceptable in a family-friendly environment. I hope appropriate action will be taken to address...
Read moreI held my daughter’s birthday party in the Disco Room, booked in advance for a Sunday at 2:15 PM.
Pre-event communication was well-handled. I received confirmations and was assured that party hosts would manage everything, which set clear expectations for a smooth, fully hosted experience.
However, on the day, the centre failed to deliver on that promise. We arrived at 2:00 PM to bring the cake and help the guests settle in, but by the scheduled start time, the room had not been cleaned—tables remained dirty and chips were on the floor. It was clear the venue was not prepared.
During the party, one host appeared inexperienced and unsure, leaving the other to carry the load—not just for our party, but seemingly others as well. She was visibly overwhelmed.
Tellingly, after the meal and before and after the cake, there were long stretches with no host present. I had to step in to lead games and maintain structure. This was probably due to the party hosts being hosts for the other parties that were on at the same time as well.
At checkout, I was nearly charged almost double the agreed amount. Only by showing my confirmation email was the correct pricing applied. This indicates poor internal coordination and weak quality control.
Despite a professional lead-up, the execution was poor. The centre appeared understaffed, unprepared, and reactive. At nearly $40 per child, the experience did not reflect the cost or the commitments made at booking.
I booked Crocs Hoppers Crossing on the recommendation of my daughter's friend's mum who held a party there two years ago, but it appears standards have slipped significantly since then, which she concurred with after hearing...
