Jai Ho Indian Restaurant Hoppers Crossing — Restaurant in Melbourne

I regret to say that our recent experience at Jai Ho Indian restaurant was quite disappointing. We ordered a variety of entrees, but unfortunately, most of them left much to be desired.

The Peanut Chat was overcooked, leading to an unpleasant taste and texture. The Crispy Corn was passable, but nothing exceptional. The Veg Manchurian was the biggest letdown; the manchurian balls were unappetizing, with an overwhelming amount of black pepper and a lack of the expected garlic flavor.

Even the Chilli Potato had a surprising layer of sugar on top, which was definitely not in line with our expectations. The Dal Makhani and Paneer Butter Masala, which should have been highlights, fell flat. The former lacked the rich and creamy taste of true Dal Makhani, and the latter was only somewhat satisfactory.

The Dahi Puri had a strong taste of old and acidic yogurt, which was not at all pleasant. Even the Chicken Nuggets, meant for my child, were a disappointment due to their noticeably aged texture.

It's quite disheartening to note that the quality of the food has significantly deteriorated. We recall a visit around a year and a half ago when the food was exceptional. However, this time around, the experience was far from satisfactory. The standard has dropped to an unacceptable level, leaving us disappointed and unable to finish our meal despite having a group of ten people.

We hope that Jai Ho can take our feedback constructively and work towards restoring the high quality we remember from our previous visit.

I will rate this a 0 star service waiting for the food which they told was cancelled and i got charged for that first of all please learn how to talk to a customer you cannot be rude and make your customer feel uncomfortable the manager the way he talked was ridiculous would not even give them a star they don’t deserve that but the employees working there are good and listen to the situation but this manager should learn how to behave with a girl you cannot speak loud if the person in front of you is being polite take a tip of $107 from my side and enjoy we can afford that but please learn some adicates would never ever recommend this and wont be coming back ever worst environment . You guys stop blaming how can you say that i have cancelled the uber order and you wont tell me that i have paid for my order or not Secondly i have all the call recording with doordash and now how ridiculous you were and when you cannot say anything on your behalf you started blaming oh i think you are paying for my food everytime lol 😂 silly people who gonna bully when you bully your staff your customers grow up dont be so silly and for the uber order you are talking about i have never ever cancelled when you dont have proof on your behalf you started giving excuses you did it bla bla and i know and even doordash service know who con and who don’t even the lady review was this guy is so rude you are talking me even the customer service had a same...

Never recommended to anyone** Tonight I am giving comment on jai ho indian restaurant Thursday 4th Nov 21 as I ordered at around 22.30 😀 but was delivered at 00:35 am took more than 2 hrs .Quality of food was too bad because No taste of food 😕even any indian can cook better than Jai ho indian restaurant chefs.They microwaved the food too much that even it took 30 minutes to cool down in normal temperature to eat .Spend $47 on food ordering Baingan ka bharta ,Naan ,Dal Saag ,Lacha parantha( Never saw parantha dry).I never gave bad comment to any restaurant because people see reviews on each restaurant before ordering food & its give negative impact on customers to order foodie but today 😋 I never recommended anyone to ordered food from jai ho indian restaurant.
