I been to this restaurant yesterday dinner and it was good let me tell you the food.1st for entree I had a Arabiki sausage it was so good nice juicy flavour in the sausage, when you look at it it’s like a plain sausage but when you taste it you can’t bear the taste so for this dish a 10/10 l. 2 entree i had is beef carpaccio to describe the dish itself it look good taste like the bacon beef thing. I enjoyed the dish but I think it need something else to go along with it like a sauce or a dressing to go well with it for this dish I give this restaurant a 8/10. Entree 3 I had a prank gyoza to describe it it taste so crunchy the dumpling it self there nothing Eles to describe it so I give it a 9/10 because I think it will go better with a spicy sauce. 4th entree I had a mushroom salad 10/10 best balance of favour and nice dressing I won’t change anything of that dish. Entree 5 miso soup 10/10 best flavour and plus it was a great dish to go with tea I like and seaweed inside and tofu even if you a non veg I recommend you have that. Over to the main course spicy ika Let me describe. It was spicy but overall it’s a balance dish overall. So I give it 9/10 maybe more chill into it. Teriyaki chicken It was a great dish I love it so this dish a 10/10. I have 3 beef and rice so let me tell you both of the name Yankiniku beef, teriyaki’s and miso beef the different think for all three is the sauce that all I like about them for the rice it good old rice nothing to tell about the rice so the beef snd rice a 10/10. Steamed vegetable it’s freshlike the dish it self I give it a 9/10 maybe making a sauce for the last main dish I had is prawn vegetable tempura we order 2 it was nice a fried I love the prawn tempura but I may Asked About the vegetable tempura if it’s sweet potato or pumpkin so the dish I scored is a 7/10. For desert I have mini matcha taiyaki it hot nice to end all of the dishes so this dish a 10/10 . For all the food overall 92/100 so 92% over all. Service was not as great as I imagined like 1st I asked for a wine glass like 2 time and they give in the third time and the food prawn vegetable tempura we waited for like 20 minute so service I give a 6/10. For company I give a 9/10. For food out of 5 is 4 service a 2 company is 4 I hope they improve their restaurant...
Read moreWell, it's was an experience!! You have to get in quick.. and really know what your doing when ordering..
They have 3 seatings... afternoon, early evening, night..
So.. its like they try to spare the amount of times they come to your table to make sure they only serve your table a total of 5 times with the least amount of orders..
So, I haven't been to the latest seating yet but plan too.. to figure out which seating time is best..
You get the menu.. as it's "ALL YOU CAN EAT" FOR $36ish dollars (give or take) as they had a recent price rise.. You're meant to be able to order "as much" as you like..
We order 4 rounds of spring rolls, sushi, sushimi, beans, rice, chicken curry, vege pancakes, dumplings.. and, got half of everything..
Had to order more.. got one set of the above
Had to order more.. got one set of the above..
Making that technically.. 4 meals as we had to order 2 more from our first order of 4...
Take note these portion sizes are more snack size then dinner.. size
When I first went here, went directly after dinner and I was starving.. I thought, yes!! I'm going to smash my way through this..
But, no... these portions sizes are the sizes you serve at a light lunch will be served after ... 💀
So, we made our 5th attempt to order the food we enjoyed most and got 2 of the 5 items off the menu... we ordered the 5th time..
Drinks are a added cost.. so, for $36ish dollars, plus the 4-5 dollars they charge for your drinks.. plus 4 the ones my kids got.. Our dinner alone was around $150's as they are over the 12...
And, we all left hungry.. ended up cooking when I got home..
If your going her for dinner.. I wouldn't recommend it.. as a one off... let's see what this place is about for sure.. it is fun for a first experience..
But, as a, got to for dinner.. I'd suggest, cooking your own snitz, curry sauce.. slices of carrots in a tiny slices.. potatoes and rice yourself... at least you'll be full.. plus a movie on Netflix.. stan, somewhere movie at home situation.. would be 50 times cheaper, quieter and you can through in a alcoholic bevy cause you don't got...
Read moreWe visited on Sunday evening the 22nd of December. Was forthrightly warned that if we left food on our plates we would be charged double! Did we look like two obese individuals settling in to eat them out of business? Shameful behaviour even if we were...
Extremely rude, aloof and obnoxious staff. We're a couple, not an under twelves football team visiting a sizzler. Anyway, that's the atmosphere in there. Extremely loud and crass. Some staff seem unhappy tbh.
Sushi and sashimi platter came out and didn't have half the pieces included in the menu picture. Mediocre and worse than supermarket sushi. No roe, no tempura prawns just salmon varieties even though the platter on the menu picture included these things. Misleading and disappointing.
Anyway, we ordered mains and it was garbage. See pictures. We asked to settle the bill and paid $43 for a small sushi/sashimi platter, 4 small guyoza and 4 small calamari balls, which we ate. See receipt.
I asked to pay for what we had eaten as though it was sub-par we had chosen to continue on and see if it would improve. We stopped when the mains arrived.
Staff were absolutely void of any empathy. It is akin to a feeding trough in that place.
If you've got 8 kids and you don't really care about trivial things like taste, service, and being able to hear yourself think then this might be the place for you. I can't say for sure, what do I know. But don't go there as a couple. Just don't.
And also please don't for one second think that this is a paid for attack or fake review. I've expounded on our experience in an honest manner, and I have pictures of the mains and the receipt. It's experiences like this which makes me thankful for online reviews.
I've updated this review with the trip advisor one as it's more explanatory. I don't yet know how to add pictures on google reviews but I'll add them when I can. See the trip advisor review for pics in...
