Horrendous levels of service here at Fishbowl Armadale and within their head office.
After being a local and eating here regularly (once a week), putting up with the poor service within the restaurant, paying for extra protein and not getting it on multiple occasions (weighed on multiple occasions), inconsistent amounts of food (seems to be less and less every time we go there), being charged multiple times for the same order, my fiancé decided to email Fishbowl directly to pass on the feedback, not something we would usually do.
Fishbowl customer service team to their credit responded offering to make amends for the previous experiences and invite us back for complementary bowls, as well as reimbursing us for the extra meal we paid for but didn’t order. My partner responded with a day to head back in only to be now ghosted by the customer service team member (Paris Huxley) for the last 2 weeks. It seems quantity over quality is the priority as Fishbowls expands but forgets the fundamentals in basic levels of customer service and recruitment of competent staff. I’ll miss Fishbowl but will be boycotting them from here on in after the piss poor experiences both in store at Armadale and with their head...
Read moreHow disappointing, the salads are usually great but Armidale completely left off all extras that we paid for via uber eats, no salmon sashimi, no beetroot, no seaweed salad also onion in the beef brisket but it doesn’t have it in the ingredients and my wife can’t eat onion!!’

28 April - I have to say the follow-up since my review has been excellent, looking to understand and address the reasons why this happened. Fishbowl will certainly get another chance because when they get it right the food is very good.
Need to learn how to read the orders because this really is frustrating

Finally order again, confirmation, pay etc. Uber driver allocated then order cancelled because driver turns up and they have no record of my order despite me having a reference from the App and all the order details
My goodness, you can’t phone them so you phone Uber and they confirm that fishbowl cancelled and they will arrange my refund

Read moreGreat, healthy food. A good alternative to greasy take away food, especially during Melbourne summers when the alternatives are fish and chips, pizzas, burgers (you get my drift?). Similar to the Sydney stores. I'm glad they are open for dinner until 9pm. However, it's a bit more than I would want to pay for lunch. My only criticism is that I cannot phone them to ask questions, and the website ordering does not allow you to remove ingredients and replace them with an alternative (eg I don't want kale and onion, but would prefer to switch it with more of the other ingredients. I also want to know if the wait time will be longer during peak periods? How will I know unless I call them?).
Update: they must have read the review below as my order tonight was dripping in dressing. Seriously, an unhealthy amount of dressing. So much that I had to take the salad out of the bowl (leaving behind a heap of dressing), add extra leaves and salad and it was still way too...
