Came for brunch and while the food was good and staff were friendly, the quality of service was honestly quite poor throughout, not only for us but also for other patrons whom we could hear complaining and frustrated about the service.
We weren't greeted by staff even after waiting for a table for half an hour. Staff promised us a table and then gave it to other patrons who arrived after us. Staff were so confused and all over the place that they asked the table next to us for their order three times (because they had forgotten their orders) and us zero times. Then, different staff would take our orders (i.e. double up) but the orders never came (as they most likely forgot to tell the kitchen out orders because they got distracted on their way to the kitchen). It was really chaotic and other people around us were visibly more frustrated than we were. Understandably, the wait time for food was longer than normal
Brunch on a Saturday is always going to be busy, especially so soon after getting out of lockdown, so I fully empathise with staff being overwhelmed with demand. Having said that, it is the cafe's responsibility to plan ahead in order to provide an organised and adequate level of service to its customers and this time that just unfortunately didn't happen.
We'll be be back soon and we hope by then that service is more streamlined and organised, and staff are significantly less confused and overwhelmed!

Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to share with you my recent experience at Coin Laundry Cafe, which was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately made me feel at ease.
The concept of combining a laundromat with a cafe is brilliant, and they have executed it perfectly. While waiting for my laundry, I was able to enjoy a fantastic cup of coffee and indulge in some delicious homemade treats. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile.
What stood out most was the relaxed vibe of the place. It wasn't just about doing laundry; it felt like a community hub where people could catch up, work, or simply unwind. The interior was stylish and comfortable, making it a great spot to spend time.
Overall, my experience at Coin Laundry Cafe was excellent. It's a unique spot that turns a mundane chore into an enjoyable outing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant way to do their laundry while enjoying great food and drink.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Read moreLocated just across the road from Armadale train station, the Coin Laundry cafe is in a great location. It has a good atmosphere and vibe however while the coffee is good, the service is somewhat lacking.....
The wait staff are friendly however my they weren't keeping up as the place got busy a little busier. I ordered a second coffee which didn't arrive after about 15 minutes. A second wait staff was prompted some 10 minutes later but still the coffee didn't arrive. In the end another staff member was prodded and finally my second coffee arrived. Given the long delay it was offered on the house however, because of the ridiculously long wait time, it wasn't really an enjoyeble coffee.
Even though there are some outdoor tables, the Coin Laundry cafe is quite small and being a popular local hangout, it fills quickly especially when the weather is good, so you can expect delays waiting for a table. It's also a very noisy cafe and my suggestion would be to go for an...
