Euro Patisserie — Restaurant in Melbourne

Came in on a Sunday arvo with my dog, I ducked in to get their attention to ask for a table. The person at the till was serving somebody so I just waited by the entryway. They rattled off "Sorry we can't allow dogs inside" whilst looking at the customer at the till. Naturally, it took me a second to realise it was directed at me. I said to them yeah no worries I'm just after a table outside, and they said no worries you can sit at that table, pointing to a table.

I went and sat with my dog. I think I waited for about 10 mins. And there was no body to take an order. Figured, they must be busy so I started looking around inside. Only to find them standing behind the counter chatting and cleaning. So I decided I'll wait for another 5 mins. Just kind of rude staff.. had Rubens and went to Euro Patisserie noticed their chairs went further down the hall on the inside.. Asked the girl inside serving if it would be okay to eat at their tables She was fine and said as long as the tables were empty.. 10 minutes later a waitress came out to advise "Not Rubens so can't sit there.." advised that we had asked.. next 5 minutes a guy with an arrogant attitude comes out and reiterates same story identifying himself as Manager.. We ordered a coffee that unfortunately did not meet our expectations; it was overly hot and predominantly tasted of milk, obscuring the coffee flavor. Upon expressing our concerns to the barista and requesting either a remake or an additional shot, we received a response that we found discourteous. The barista suggested keeping the lid off to cool the milk down, which did not address our request.
