A peaceful slice of paradise by the sea. Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Sorrento Park and it turned out to be one of the most refreshing and soul-soothing experiences I’ve had in Melbourne. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming, with the sound of birds chirping and a light sea breeze brushing through the tall, beautiful trees. The view overlooking the ocean is absolutely breathtaking — a perfect blend of sky, sea, and nature. We walked along the garden paths surrounded by seasonal blooms, vibrant colors, and thoughtfully maintained greenery. There are plenty of benches to sit and take in the serenity, and I could see families enjoying picnics, couples taking photos, and kids running freely on the open grass. The park is not only scenic but also very clean and well-kept. You can truly feel that this place is loved by the community. If you're into photography, this place offers some fantastic golden hour shots, especially from the elevated points looking towards the coastline. We even caught a glimpse of the ferry crossing the water — it added a magical touch to the whole setting. Whether you're looking for a peaceful solo walk, a romantic outing, or a family-friendly escape, Sorrento Park delivers all of it and more. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re anywhere near the Mornington Peninsula. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more attention. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

This park has been very well maintained over the years. The play areas are great from toddlers to end of primary school aged. Swings of different sizes, including one that seems ok for larger, disabled youths - though the wheelchair swing that used to be there is no longer around, which is a shame. There are different types of slides, heights and types of monkey bars, flying fox, climbing nets, a sand pit, a fort and a musical thing made of pipes. Parents can sit near the entrance and there's a high wall around the equipment area. I couldn't resist playing on the equipment with my (now) adult daughter, who practically lived at this park as a child..., it was fun for us both.

Beautiful park equiped with a children's play area, BBQ areas, picnic benches and some stunning views. There's a rotunda in the centre and restaurants nearby. A few information boards talk about the history of the park and parking can be found in several places along the nearby road, although it gets very busy at the weekends and evenings.

It's a really nice place especially for pic nics and barbeques!!! It also has a nice view, it is next to the sea and has room for kids to play, there is definetly some negatives and much room for improvements. Something that can't really change is the weather. It's a windy place so if you are going for more than an hour better take a jacket or a hoody with you!!!Moreover, if you want to go to the toilet better hold it!! The toilets there have broken doors, no shampoo and are really dirty!!! Another thing that annoyed me a lot is that there is not enough rubbish bins. At Christmas day and some other public holidays the place is full of families!!! I have been there at Christmas of 2017 I could find near me only one rubbish bin and at the evening I could see bags full of rubbish next to the bin because the bin was completely full!!!!So this is a nice place but it needs lots of...
