They deserve no stars! The entire experience (or lack of) was disgusting to say the least. Walked in and were told to find a seat. 15 minutes and counting…. We had to waive to a waitress to take our order. I ordered a Shiraz and got a Chardonnay (I was fine with it as I didn’t want to wait another 10 minutes for get a Shiraz) I asked the waitress if blue cheese was included on the Antipasti board as the description was ‘local and imported cheese’ she did not know and went to ask the kitchen. Came and said ‘Yes, blue cheese was included on the cheese selection today’ Our Antipasti platter arrived with ham and salami, mushrooms and a couple of pickled chilli’s garnished with rocket so wilted they must have been sitting under the sun for a day - no cheese to be seen anywhere. I asked the waitress where the cheese was to which she looked dumbfounded and mumbled something along the line of ‘I will go and find out’. A good 10 minutes went by and we are still waiting, we asked a guy waiter walking past and he said ‘I believe my colleague is looking after this for you’ You can imagine at this stage we were put off everything! It’s now been well over 45 minuets from start to finish….. another few minutes and still nothing. My partner got up and found another waitress that we were still waiting on the cheese. To our SHOCK she retuned after a few minutes a side plate that has mozzarella shavings and 2 boccocinis that she had got from the pizza section. To think they had the audacity to bring out a plate of ‘pizza cheese’ and thought they will get away with it speaks volume of how much they respected us as customers, or any customer for that matter. Disgusting disgusting disgusting!

Left at the door while a table was made ready for us Same waitress came back and said “was I just talking with you?” Sat at a table which had been wiped and was dripping wet (not just a little) Had to ask for it to be dried Told table service or QR code Ordered juices $9+10 each - served pretty quick for this order and 2 waitresses within a minute both tried to take our drink order Watched the juices be “made” Tall skinny glasses filled beyond the brim with ice Glasses then filled with juices from a pouch on the bench below full Drinks delivered and had to ask if we could order, had already been there 5-10 mins by this point and no one came near us to take our food order Ordered Food delivered in a reasonable time frame Apricot baked croissant was nice Chilli scrambled was disappointing Lucky I ordered an extra side of mushrooms (at $6 nonetheless) as otherwise I would have got 1 piece of ? Sourdough with scrambled eggs and a concentrated drizzle of chilli oil / paste and a generous amount of goats cheese and dill Advertised as coming with flatbread, but definitely wasn’t No chilli or anything throughout the eggs, just standard bland scrambled eggs. Not even buttery or creamy Truffle mushrooms were nice. Read moreLet's start with the compliments. Wood fire pizza was delicious. Steak was beautifully cooked. Chips were stale but tasty. Two of the male floor staffs were very polite and attentive.
Now, let's talk about what made this a horrible dining experience. We dined on 2nd Jan, and we tried calling multiple times to let Stringers know we would be late. The line was not manned as goes thru to a third party operator which is on break, and it was quite frustrating as we thought we would loose our reservation.
When we arrived at 1pm, the venue was extremely busy, we were made to be seated at 1.25pm. A waitress took our order, and one of our guest's drink never arrived, upon checking with another staff member, we were told the drink our guest ordered had ran out. We were never notified. That waitress also didn't set up our table with cutleries and plates. She seemed to be very inattentive, very absent minded and could be considered quite rude.
As we finished our meal and proceeded to pay, the floor manager has given us a huge bill which was not for our table. We raised our concern and a second bill was issued. This time it shows the sold out drink that was never served to us. We have to again rectify the bill.
We understand that it is a busy time of the year, however please respect your job as a hospitality professional. While the chefs has made some very delicious food, the work ethics some floor stuff shown has really damaged the hard work the rest of the team has put in. A huge room for improvement...
