It was beautiful, but polluted. Apparently due to the fact there was a storm the night before and all the storm water drains out there. There was rubbish everywhere and it was disgusting. For some reason I decided to jump in the water anyway and I came out feeling like I had a disease. If you go, DO NOT do so after a storm.

The bay has a marine sanctuary and is very popular with divers but it can get quite polluted with storm water run off after it rains.

One of the best beaches in Sydney, and a gem of the eastern suburbs. Whilst it can resemble all that’s terrible about places like “Ivy Pool” (with the posers, muscle boys etc), it’s still an amazing place to swim and chill out (amazing snorkelling as well).
