Great place to visit with the kids (Or by yourself!). Easy to access, parking is affordable ($12 for a full day) and the exhibits are free to wander through. There are set times for a reptile show, which you can purchase tickets for at the kiosk for a small fee (there are also snacks, coffee, ice creams and some souvenirs available). We took some time to walk on the nature trails, played on the playground and saw all the animals. The kids loved the peacocks who wander around and are very tame. The lake is a great spot to spot some turtles and eels as well as fish & ducks. Plenty of bbq facilities if you're there early enough, and the toilets are clean and well kept. Highly recommend a visit, at least a couple of...

There is a super easy exhibit walk that show cases heaps of amazing birds, wombats, koalas, turtles and more. There is a large aviary you can walk into where birds swoop around above your head. There are other lengthier walks around the reserve that I'd love to check out. There are a few things that could be more updated and a few exhibits were closed when I went there, but for a free experience it is definitely...
