Riverside Park — Attraction in Newcastle-Maitland

We walk there every Thursday in the morning and the cool breeze off the river really makes it nice. Sadly, we once lost a drone in the river though if anyone ever finds it, please let me know. The batteries died while going over the water and it dropped like a rock right in the centre of the of the river. Great place for families and kids to play, with a really great foot path along the water. There is a section that becomes dirt, would be great if council connected the two paths to become one continues...

I feel it is the best place in Raymond Terrace. Lots of picnic tables with and without sheds by the river. Take a walk onto the bridge and you will see the amazing joint point of two big rivers and marvelous sunset. Plus, before sunset, you can see thousands of birding lining for home; then after sunset, even more fruit bats...

BBQ facilities available. Currently development is going on around the area. Children play is new. New toilet facilities provided. Eateries and resturants are nearby. Shopping centers are also nearby. Plenty parking space available. It is a good place to stop over if you are traveling to North or South through...
