Very drunk people behaving badly I had to approach them before they hurt someone, i told them their behaviour was not appropriate and that there were famies ,children there. They just hurled abuse at me. They were pouring alcohol over each other, swearing and punching and hitting each other while running around all over the place 0laying very loud music. I reminded them there is no Alcohol allowed to be drank in public anywhere in Qld. They were mature adults in their 30,s disgusting and very disturbing indeed. Unfortunately they were not the only ones drinking Alcohol there were many drinking sitting on the beach at the tables even on the bench seat. I rang council told them they said not their problem have to ring police. So council fine people for sleeping in their campers i read this about old couple slept in a street in caravan lady had heart condition did no one any harm just slept but fined 5hem heavily yet they allow drunkards and swearing and potential harm to others to continue in such a beautiful place as The Spit. Shame on the Noosa council for turning a blind eye. Pay big money to live there and yet the grubs can do whatever they like at The Spit no fines no security no one cared at all was a week day no a council person in sight. Its ruined it for me i will never go back there and i will be telling others to give it a miss there are other nice beaches dont need to go there and put up with that disgusting drunken behaviour especially now i know the council support this vad behaviour. Dont go to the Spit its...
Read moreWhen it comes to Mother.N Beauties, it's always 5* to me cause you can't beat Nature right❣I know it doesn't look so inviting because of the rain, I took this after. Give it a few clear days & it all looks Lush again. I've been here b4 it's absolutely stunning 😍 & very calming. Great for parents with little kids, great place to meditate most definitely, or any yoga teachers best place to be among ocean sounds & nature, kids who are gifted (so all you Support Workers or NDIS team) as the water is quite calm (kids with sensory overload would be alot better for them), also they have surfing lessons as well smaller waves (easier for those learners) & normally this place has beautiful sand, beautiful ocean (when it rains sand looks dirty & ocean as well but on a clear days it's definitely a Wow 👌 Factor❣) & it's amongst the national park with Native wildlife. Best to leave Pets @ home, I'm not to sure if you can bring your dogs, as I said there's Native Animals & we don't want the harm or to scare them in there natural environment, it's there home...
Read moreI love the Spit, but dog owners have started to let their dogs run off the leash despite the signs saying not to. I wish the council would make it clear. Not everyone likes dogs, not every one is okay with your dog sniffing them, some of us are allergic to dogs, and others have been bitten by dogs and are scared of them. This morning there were 6 dogs loose and running about. It's too much, and massively ignorant that dog owners have such a long beach devoted to that only a short way off, and yet now they are taking over the Spit too (car park beach at the end). Please Noosa Council if you see this can do something about it to improve signage and fine owners, as the one spot we can avoid dogs is now being swamped with them. Any dog owners reading this please consider that some others do not like dogs, and you letting them loose ruins our enjoyment of that communal space because we are then forced to leave, you have a huge dog beach right next door, please dont let them loose at the Spit as...
