Nissarana Galleries Noosa — Attraction in Noosa Heads

On entering this gallery today the woman at the desk huffed and seemed bothered by something that she was dealing with. I believe it would have been Valerie the owner, I asked a question and received such a dismissive answer. Her main concern was that there are so many people from southern states moving up to the Noosa area. In particular those from Melbourne and then decided to tell me how horrid they are! Well, let me tell you my thoughts. I’m so sick and tired of that attitude being thrown from every state I visit and the devision that has been created by so many that believe they are entitled to ownership of their state!!! This is Australia and we are a country that needs to stay united. If you can’t deal with the public…then don’t! You get the two stars as I’ve invested substantial amount in your art work...

I have been a long time customer and supporter of this gallery. I have purchased numerous items over the years and have always found the service great and staff most helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure I purchase items according to my taste. They have also contacted me when they have had new items in that may interest me. I find the Manager, Valerie Pasquale to be most helpful and accommodating. She and her staff have worked hard to maintain an eclectic mix of art, showcasing many local artists and providing a cultural feast of artwork second to none. I will continue to patronise this gallery and have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family and overseas visitors. This place is surely one out of the box. Many thanks Val and team. We love this gallery. We go up especially from the Gold Coast and have purchased some lovely pieces over time. Some of our pieces are Pete Cromer's beautiful resin budgies; Lindsay Polson's Porcelain Heart, and Kym Barret's Wax in a bowl. These pieces take pride of place in our home and we love visiting the gallery each time we are in Noosa. Val Pasquale and her staff, are an absolute delight to deal with and are a wealth of information.
