The ice cream is absolutely amazing, but staff need far better training. I come here frequently and every single time, after I have tapped my card, I stand there waiting for the young girl (as all of the counter staff are teenage girls) to tell me my payment has gone through and have a nice day.... and they never do. You tap your phone or card, and without even waiting to make sure the payment has gone through, they disappear without a word, leaving you standing there awkwardly before realising your interaction is over.

On my last morning at Noosa, I went back twice- the first time I was 10 metres down Hastings street before the cone literally snapped in half because the girl had to have a few goes at getting the ice cream in the cone and it had obviously cracked in the process. I picked it up off the ground and ate it anyway because it was delicious.

Later that morning I went back (again, because delicious) and got a small cup. Half way through eating I pulled out from the middle of the ice cream not one but TWO long hairs that most definitely didn't belong to me.

Severely unimpressed with the staffing, but I will always go back because the ice cream is bloody amazing. Copenhagen is disgusting and cheap in comparison- I will never go there again. Candy Wonderland, Fairy Bread, Mrs Zimmerman's Magical Cookies and Weed-Bix with Honey and Banana are my favourites (no seriously, you HAVE to try the weet-bix if you are a cereal fan). Next up: cereal milk or Lucky Charms flavour please šŸ˜

EDIT to add: I really appreciated that the spoons were compostable....

We are on a family holiday in Noosa and decided we would get a late night gelato. After googling the closing time, which was 10pm, we decided we had enough time to get one before they closed. We arrived at exactly 9.55pm on Wednesday 5th of January 2022 and a young girl told us they were closed and had started cleaning, "too late we're closed" she said, even though they're supposed to be open until 10pm. There was another lady turned away at exactly the same time as us. We walked across to Copenhagen at 9.56pm and they served us without any hesitation, obviously the staff at Copenhagen have another level of training! I worked at McDonald's from the age of 15-18, I appreciate the discipline learned that set me up for my adult life, the managers or people in charge really need to teach these kids that same working discipline; close is at 10pm and cleaning starts after, that's the professional way to do things! Won't visit here...

I just had to take a couple of minutes to write how impressed I was with my experience today at Gelatissimo Noosa. As a Noosa local, we often visit your store because it’s always delicious. What I didn’t expect was such friendly and attentive service from the young lady (Scarlet) who served us today. School holidays have obviously started and the shop was extremely busy, however when it was our turn to order we were greeted with a genuine smile and a very polite welcome which is so lovely especially when the staff are under such pressure. It’s only ice cream I know, but to us that’s even more reason to appreciate the great service (the taste test and flavour explanations) and the sincere ā€œthank you very muchā€ when we left, because the young lady really didn’t have to. It was respectful and refreshing, if we could give her 6stars then we would. We can’t wait to come back in a couple of days. Thanks again...

Life tastes better with gelato. For sureee My favorite gelato spot in Noosa. What makes this place is different is the variety of options.. instead of derivatives of all the regular stuff, you get to experience mind-bending fresh vibrant flavors like ā€˜dragonfruit + lychee’ or ube (unique purple yam that is out of this world) If you like coconut, their coconut here is NEXT LEVEL. Feels like you’ve scooped out the creamy meat straight from a coconut.. feels clean and fresh too (vs. synthetic or full of additives) Pistachio was tasty too.. would have been cool if it had chunks of real pistachios in it Next time gonna opt for the traditional cookies & cream, friend said it was divine

Literally the nicest mint choc chip ice cream I’ve ever had (and that’s a lot!). The image does it no justice as I had already began demolishing it prior to taking it, but it was much much loaded with ice cream! The lady serving was super kind and polite too. The selection is good, so I’m unsure as to why previous reviews state otherwise. You can see in the images only some of the flavours and they all look to die for. 🤤 I believe my single scoop - in a cone - of the mint CC was 6$ or something close, which I felt was pretty reasonable given the ā€˜one scoop’ was more like 3. Crunchy cone to go with, can’t beat it. WILL BE BACK!
