Fabulous location on the entrance to Melbourne bay. The rip tides and currents can make navigation difficult as the isthmus is only two and half miles wide with a designated shipping lane and remember this is the busiest shipping lane in Australia. I travelled to Queenscliff as part of outing to the Bellarine Peninsula. Queenscliff has the honour of hosting two lighthouses, one White Lighthouse and the other the Black Lighthouse.
