Look the food was nice but the older man and lady who work there are so grumpy it was almost comedic! (Especially the lady!) One big group turned up 7 minutes after their booking and was lectured and told they were lucky their table wasn’t given up and how people should turn up on time. Lots of talk about covid and tourists spreading disease. Not sure if it’s a normal occurrence or just a really bad day for the two working there (perhaps a married couple who’d had a fight before staring work?). All customers felt like they were being scolded by their parents. Funny but uncomfortable to eat there.

First experience was great. Staff were friendly and timely. Second experience, 6 of us ordered food and drink - but another 2 had brought in some outside food. Understand local business has policy and this is sometimes frowned upon but the owner was extremely condescending and belittling. Left a bad taste to what had mostly been a good experience. Suspect it may be a case of a grumpy old man. Outdoor garden seating is really nice though!

A lovely little place with a lovely set of people running the place. Warm, friendly with that touch of humour that weaves its way into the decor of the place. We stopped over for an Apple Cinnamon muffin and a coffee. The muffin was soft, warm and decadent, just like a warm hug. Just what was needed on a cold rainy day. Will definitely revisit for a bigger meal, just to say hi to the friendly folk.

Absolutely disgusting service - today the 6 of us ordered crepes, the waitress messed up the meal and ordered an extra crepe- after apologising that there was an extra meal she reassured us we would get the money back for the extra crepe that she charged us for, she said rather than binning it we could have it. On request for our money back the man who appeared to be the owner rudely said no you ate it so you pay for it - after telling him that we had not ordered this extra one and the waitress said we would receive our money back and left it on our table, he said no that is not what the waitress said! He said if you didn’t want it it should have been returned- my daughter was distressed about the way she was spoken to from the 2 women in the shop and walked out. When I returned to the shop to ask for the refund this man spoke down to me arrogantly and would not listen, I asked for a refund and told him why in the world would we order an extra meal!! I told him we would not return and he stated “good we don’t want you here” I stayed there and demanded that on principal I would stay there until I got my money back - he refused, but the waitress went into the til and threw the money at me!

What absolutely terrible customer service and reading the reviews can see so many others have had the same experience! It seems the cost of a monetary mistake is worth more to this business than customer service, which is such a shame in this lovely...

I rarely leave reviews but I feel like I can't not share my experience. We went to Panache Queenscliff yesterday 22 of Jan to have lunch. 2 adults and 3 kids. Kids ordered a sweet crepe and toasties. There was no problem with their food. My husband and I however decided to order savoury crepes. I ordered a seafood one and my husband ordered a chicken with creamy mushroom sauce crepe. After trying mine and being utterly disappointed with the taste as it was inedible we decided to share a chicken crepe. The filling of the crepe was completely off..it smelled and tasted just off. Not sure what ingredient was off exactly but I suspect the cream. Anyhow when at the end of our visit I pointed it out to the staff I was surprised not to be offered a refund for 2 meals that we couldn't eat or at least a simple sorry. I was just told "Thank you for pointing that out. We will look into it" Well...I truly hope you did at least that because both me and my husband are feeling sick today after eating that little...

We went to this establishment two years ago and enjoyed it so much that we decided to drive from Melbourne to repeat the experience. The staff at that time were so good (smiling, attentive and VERY welcoming); they actually changed a few ingredients of the crepe I ordered for me.(I am a diabetic). Not so this time. Customer service was just OK.but nowhere what we experienced the first time. What really killed it for me "no menu changes in or out, no exceptions" . It's a shame that such inflexibility to meet customers' requests is in place. The owner's immediate response was "We have a "format" menu which means no changes to the ingredients no exceptions. It's part of our franchise agreement" Sadly this means I won't be returning. On a positive note, our visit to the antiques shop next door was amazing and we came away with some...
