Was one of our favorite place to get coffee and cake when in Queensclif, unfortunately not anymore. The food and coffee in general is great there, but customer service need some improvement. Staff looks friendly except one blond lady who literally made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcomed and made me even cry after i was served. But honestly I don't think she even understood it or noticed. I was served actually before by her and now I can recall she was a bit abrupt the other day too. Not that she is using any rude words, no...but the tone she was speaking (actually shows her attitude) is very uncommon here in AU. That is really sad, honestly never felt so...

Ummm yeah, don't know about being award winning IMO. Had the curry pie and pepper pie and the amount of fatty/grissel in the curry pie was a total turn off. Should have taken a picture but don't want to gross people out. The pepper pie was not as bad but really, not hanging it on this place but have definitely had award winning pies from other places. These other places haven't even won awards. Somewhere local that comes to mind is the cafe at Sorrento and it's other store in Portsea (Cannot think of the name darn it), these pies are hands down the best you will experience near on ever!! Once again, not hanging it on this place just an...

Tried the truffle mushroom , chicken as well as the prawn curry. The prawn curry one was really spicy, it also had vermicelli noodles inside which was a bit unexpected. The truffle mushroom was our favourite, very creamy and tasty filling.

For the “best pies in Australia” I expected to be wowed, but the pastry was very average, not flaky and tasted like store bought pie pastry. I do have to admit the truffle mushroom filling tasted incredible though.

After posting on tiktok the comments mentioned that this store wasn’t fresh and locals don’t visit here, and the other branch was were the real deal is. So am keen to give...

Overall 3.5/5 I had a chunky beef pie, which was good. It's not the best I've had as it was missing more chunky beef and a good thick gravy. The gravy was watery and not the best. 3/5 My sausage roll was a winner. 5/5 My partner had a mushroom and truffle pie, which was really tasty, although for me, the truffle was too strong. 4/5 The salad roll was just ok, apparently. Not the best. The bun was dry. 2/5 We shared a vanilla slice with raspberry jam, and this was good, although I only had a small taste. 3.5/5 Maybe I had higher expectations given all the previous awards this place has won?

I got a pie from queenscliff rolling pin last week. And found a large chunk of grissle/chewy bit in my pie, there was more then one but this was the largest, safe to say the pie got thrown in the bin. Their cabinet was messy and half stocked for 8am. I will not be returning after appalling food from south Geelong today. They should be ashamed to serve this in an almost $8 pie
