We stopped here as the turnaround point for our cross Staddie bike ride. Straight forward cafe, with the usual suspects on the menu, the coffee was good. Most people were doing takeaways, dine in available with some undercover seating, or check out the view from Point Lookout across Mooloomba Road. On street parking adjacent, probably very busy on weekends and holidays.

I was at Loaves at the point yesterday afternoon and the food there was great. The family feasted on pies, sausage rolls, spinach and fetta pasties and some very tasty salad rolls. I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Unfortunately, they didn't have much of a selection left due to selling out at 12:20pm. They did have more pastries in the oven cooking. The only option was either The pepper and steak or mushroom and steak pie.

Asked late in the day about if they had any chocolate croissants. Was understandably told they had sold out, but would be ready the next day any time shortly after 6am. Went in the next day at 6:15, and lady at the counter was strangely very rude. Said they'd be ready later, and did not specify a time. Came back after going to the beach at 8am and she said she hadn't put them in yet. Only at 9am were they ready. Came in the next day at 8am, and was met with even more rudeness from the woman and no croissants. It's one thing to have bad service, but how come so much rudeness? Would just turn away whilst talking. Very disappointing. Haven't had such bad...

My pepper steak only had soup/sauce in it. No meat The sausage roll was.....let me say...i was not sure what i ate. Please get a proper recipe. In response to owner: I am just stating the fact that there was no meat in the pepper steak - and I am not the only one in these reviews to state that. About the taste of the sausage roll - I will let other people judge about that. Then I did not not went back to complain - but I cn do that if you insist - but I am not sure if it will accomplish something - will they give my money back or just...

The pies here are awful and overpriced. We tried the potato pie and it was dry, over cooked, pastry was burnt, meat filling was flavourless and lacking with the pie being 80% dry tasteless potato. We forced ourselves to finish it due to the exorbitant price, $7.50 each. Sausage roll was passable but a little oily and stale. And you pay a premium for tomato sauce even when the pies cost a fortune. Better off trying Dunwich or Amity for your...
