Literally, a little cove with warm, clear water and lots of fish to see! Unlike the other beaches at Noosa Heads, this one gets deep very quickly without the need to walk far out into the surf. Its calm waters means you can swim quite far out into the ocean without the fear of getting dragged out by a rip tide. It's nestled right between Noosa Main Beach and the bathing area at the entrance of Noosa National Park. Little Cove is surrounded by rocks and pebbles so you are relatively safe from the big waves at, as compared to swimming at Tea Tree or Granite Bay.
Take your goggles or snorkel kit to enjoy the beautiful fish swimming all around you. Just be careful not to drift too long as you may find yourself closer than expected to the rocks that protect you from the rip, which only seems a concern during high tide.
