The ultimate panorama of Noosa is just a short drive away from the town's bustling hub of Hastings Street, and provides sweeping, expansive views that extend out as far as the Glasshouse Mountains in the distance. The site of Laguna Lookout itself is fairly simple - it's merely an extended terrace with a fenced barrier that juts out from the hillside, and there are no facilities such as picnic tables to speak of - however there's no denying it's the perfect spot for a photoshoot of Noosa's picturesque town/beach/waterway environment.

You can access it either by the steps from the back of Hasting Street or from Laguna Drive in Noosa Junction. If you go through Laguna Drive you will be met with a nice drive through some of the remaining old growth forest in Noosa.

In recent years the council has refurbished the existing viewing platforms and added a dedicated car park to solve traffic problems. Do be aware that it is a national park so no dogs, cats or other domesticated animals are allowed...
