Located in Seymour is a commerative site dedicated to the service people who served in South Vietnam in 1962-1975. The building on site has poster displays and is a replica of a concert stage built at Nui Dat during the Vietnam War called Luscombe Bowl. On site is a Huey helicopter elevated on a pole and Centurion tank. (Sorry Keith the Huey on a pole trumps your land Rover on a pole) There is the Long Tan Cross to commemorate soldiers who lost their lives during the battle of Long Tan on 18th August 1966. The commemoration wall has background images superimposed over the names of the 60,267 service personnel and 11 tracker dogs who served in South Vietnam. There are holders for poppy flowers. Overall a great tribute

A nice walk in the nature, there’s lots of trees and park benches. The walk looks quite new especially the bins, benches, and water tap. There’s lots of information to read up on the history of Australia’s participation in the Vietnam war. You can take the time to remember the lives and efforts of all the people and dogs who fought in the war. There’s many in depth explanations of Australia’s operations in Vietnam, and there are ranks and military weapons displayed.

This was fantastic. Best part it didn't cost anything and I shared the experience with my partner who knows alot about the military and I learned alot that day. It sure is worth the walk and for people that are keen in history etc would find this very interesting. It also includes tanks and the helicopter all from the war. 10/10. Well worth the visit.

It was humbling to have the pleasure to visit this place of such importance. To stand in an area that lists the names of all the Vietnam Veterans that served in the Vietnam War, and to share time standing along side of the dedicated wall with the names of those members of the Australian Defence Force that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, I felt that to be a former soldier standing amongst all these names on the walls was a very proud time today. I also acknowledge the ADF personal that served in Ubon, Thailand, which was not recognised by the Australian Government at the time of this Memorial being dedicated. It would be most appropriate and befitting that the names of those ADF personnel that did serve in Ubon, be considered to be added to the...
