Not only are Tanisha and Kristie extremely rude to customers but they have also lied to you, it wasn't over the happy hour time, we bought a round of drinks and was charged the normal rate then i discovered it was in fact happy hour and purchased another round at the happy hour price, then when we went to buy another round we asked for the happy hour price ( to make up for the bar staffs mistake) and was told no, that was fine there was no complaints from us about that, when we bought our meal brad took our order and was extremely polite, right at the end of the transaction the blonde girl came over, brad joking asked "are you stealing my customers" to which the blonde girl said "i dont care about your customers".... then i asked for a copy of the receipt and was giving one from the efpos machine (this is no good to anyone working away who needs to claim meals) i put the rubbish into an empty pint glass i had just finished and this triggered the blonde girl, a few rude comments were thrown at me before she walked off. Me and my colleagues were in pure disgust, i have honestly never experienced anything like this before and i have travelled alot! I cannot believe you employ people like that, they are bringing your business down, we spent around $200 in there tonight and have been in around 7-8 times and would of continued for the next 2 months while our project was running and we eat...
Read moreThe 3 times Iâm been there since the new owners have taken over: The first time I was sitting at the bar with my partner speaking when the new owner got into my personal space so close to my face to ask me âarenât you going to smile loveâ, I replied ânoâ and became so uncomfortable that he found this appropriate to do that myself and partner left the pub. I did not find this funny more like very creepy! I thought I would take my family to the pub for a meal, and my Aunty meal came out with frozen mash potato, when we spoke to the waitress regarding this, the meal was taken away and reheated in the microwave and the plate came out steaming. When the owner came over to speak about the mash potatoes, his reply was âthat the portions were too big to microwave and the solution was too: change the portions to smaller to be able to microwave betterâ. Myself and my partner were drinking at the pub, and asked about a price of a drink which is cheaper at other pubs around the area, we were greeted with rudeness and were asked to leave the pub. I would not recommend this pub to anyone as I find the new owners extremely rude...
Read moreHad previously eaten here early 2024 and the large dining room was open at the rear and plenty of staff. On that occasion had a good meal, so coming through Seymour on a Tuesday night this last August decided to drop in for dinner. This time the dining room was small and at the front of the pub. Despite it being less than half full we were obliged to wait to be seated, as it turned out we were put right in front of a (non-operational) fire place. It was a wintery night and there was a very cold draught coming down the chimney. We asked if we can sit somewhere else, note that there was no shortage of tables available, but we were eventually moved to a position that was right in the way of people walking through and very awkward. When I saw the roast of the day was $32 I decided it must be good (expect ROTD to be $20-ish). I had a couple of mouthfuls of the meat and it was like an old boot! Left the meat and ate only the veg. When the waitress came to collect the plates she didn't dare ask how it was. The whole experience was like one of John Cleese's 'how not to run business' videos! Next time will be looking elsewhere on our...
