Upon entering the Seymour Club we were greeted with respect, asked bar person re putting NRL on TV was accommodated. Was advised to go to bistro to order of menu other than bar menu. We sat down and viewed menu on line which showed $41 for scotch fillet, apparently on in house menu it was $44 dollars. We were charged $88 where we thought we ordered 2 x scotch fillet and garlic bread. We thought the difference between $82 and $88 wad for the garlic bread. I adked is what was in the container mushroom suace, I was met with a cusive response. As a matter of fact all the female staff have poor skills in dealing with customers. Feedback was not welcome at all. The mushroom sauce was so pulverised it didn't resemble anything and the vegetables looked like they came from the freezer. We went to counter to question these complaints and was advised our complaint didn't matter. I have worked in hospitality and this is the wordrse service ever.
I was told to leave the venue because I asked questions about the mushroom sauce and the difference in price between what was advertised on the website and the price I was charged.
I think the management need to do an audit if the attitude of the staff. If your revenue us dropping in the food area, I can understand why. I was told by the junior staff that my criticism had no valid background. Though I stated that the feedback about what published on the website does not help.
I must say The staff at the local pub compared to your staff are streets apart. They need retraining. Good Luck...

Read morePopped in for lunch and we were made to feel warmly welcomed by the staff. A wide variety of typical bistro fare is on the menu, my companion opted for the roast beef while I elected to have the salt and pepper squid. The squid was prepared well, no rubberiness that can often be found, though I did find myself seasoning it a little more (probably just personal taste). Chips delectably crunchy, as was the salad (the sweet chilli sauce really set it off). Partnered with an ice cold beer from the tap made it quite a pleasant experience.
The venue itself was contemporarily fit out, clean, modern and well looked after. Some clearer signage would probably help but compared to many clubs I've been too it certainly didn't seem stale. Great prices for...
