Lovely serene beach. The walk was steep and rough at times and took a while to reach. Nonetheless, it was well worth the trip as the beach is expansive and private, the sand is pristine and the ocean view is awesome. We frolicked on the beach sand, played with the crashing waves and sat on the beautiful rocks to watch the day go by. With plentiful of liquids and towel to dry off, the day is guaranteed to be beautiful.
BTW, parking was a pain and we were fortunate to find the last slot on Verona Road. After the trip we found out that it is a Grade 4 Track where some bush-walking experience is recommended and it is 2 km return! Looking forward to some whale and dolphin watching in the near...
Read moreThe trek to Wreck beach is difficult at times (tip: wear sneakers for the trail part). Once you get to the point where the Bush opens up to the water, it is a challenging descent down, particularly if you have umbrellas and bags etc. It seems as if the steps to get down are wrecked (!), so you have to make your own way down. The trail has degraded somewhat, so some steps are very eroded and consequently a bit of a drop. It's probably still medium-easy going.
