Thought I'd try this cafe for breakfast after seeing the high star rating and it having a nice outlook onto the beach. Unfortunately that was as far as the positives went with my experience. From the moment of walking inside, it didn't go very well. I was not acknowledged by the staff, left waiting for some time. The staff all looked unhappy. Being in the hospitality game myself, first cardinal rule should be to smile and greet your clients. I asked how long the wait for food was and was told over an hour - which I value their honesty - so I decided to return later on for brunch. Upon my return, same type of "greeting" but a short wait for food. The man who eventually served me was nice. I ordered the Vego Full Breakfast. Where do I start .... everything was so over cooked - poached eggs hard inside, 3 leaves of spinach that were so fried that they were brittle. The tomato was burnt black underneath. Hash brown was so over fried it was dry, brittle and very oily. Mushrooms just too oily, with everything way over salted. Except the beans, they actually needed salt. The most unfortunate part was i couldn't eat the smashed avocardo as it was off. Unfortunately for me the experience did not go very well. Maybe they just had an off day?

This is nice little family run cafe. The service is super friendly and attentive. There is a good amount of spacious alfresco seating with shade. Although, you'd still want to get in early if you want breakfast on a weekend as they can get busy. The menu is your standard cafe menu, but they do bake a lot of their cakes on site. The Brownie is definitely something worth trying. Coffee is done quite well, relatively strong with good flavour. For breakfast, I had the Eggs Benedict with Salmon, in my opinion, I actually prefer the Salmon not to be cooked, but it's no complaint, just a preference. The menu is well priced and won't break the bank. Did I mention the owners are friendly? They are more than happy to have a bit of chat, provided they have the time. Staff are young, but seem to be experienced. I had an enjoyable experience here.

I popped in from the neighbouring hotel for a relaxing iced coffee recently. It was a lovely, sunny day but very windy which meant that sitting outside with my drink was a bit of an adventure. Quite a few things in the sort of courtyard there were flying about. Quite fun really and made for a discussion point with fellow customers. Anyway, I ordered my drink inside and found a table outside that seemed to be protected from most flying things - i.e. anything that wasn't weighed down by sandbags. It came soon enough and then I took forever as I slowly supped it and took in the windy atmosphere.

Visited the cool looking cafe with my partner on our long weekend getaway, and thought we'd grab a quick take away coffee and bacon & egg roll, a pretty simple order x2 skim caps, and x1 bacon & egg roll easy done. The coffees took about 10 minutes to be made which i thought was odd as the place wasnt busy.... coffee came was average. Then the wait began for a simple bacon & egg roll, after 15 minutes, and half my coffee, I thought to myself gees this must be a good bacon & egg roll if it takes this long to make! After a good 45 minute Wait we got our roll, and headed of to sit and enjoy it on the beach, as you do right? Any way my partner goes to take a bite and the bacon & egg roll was that hard to eat! The roll itself had been either frozen and defrosted in a microwave, or just chucked in the microwave and set to "cook until concrete". It was so hard we couldn't even bite through it! The egg was over cooked, along with the bacon. Unfortunately Worst bacon & egg roll we've ever come across by far. I would not recommend this place at all....... Looks to be run buy...
