This is a great walk, easily done over 2 days. Mostly well marked. You can stay halfway at Middle Rock or One Mike Beach Caravan Park. Lots of spectacular beaches with the southern ones being perfect for snorkelling due to all the little protected rocky beaches. Both ends of the walk and the caravan parks in the middle are accessible by the (mostly hourly) 130 bus route that starts in Newcastle and ends in Fingal Bay, so could access the entire walk via public transport.
