Toowoomba Day & Night Pharmacy — Attraction in South Toowoomba

Absolutely excellent pharmacy.

I’ve only been a regular customer for about 4 months now, however I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. I’ve seen Dan multiple times and he has been a pleasure to deal with. The other male pharmacist (Sorry I forgot his name) is also lovely, only seen him once or twice. The female pharmacist (Monica? Correct me if I’m wrong, I’m terrible with names) I’ve seen a few times as-well and is also lovely to deal with. The general staff are also very nice to deal with and I haven’t had any issues whatsoever.

Pricing wise this pharmacy doesn’t miss a beat. I would understand if their pricing scheme was a bit higher than that of other pharmacies due to their increased hours of business however their pricing is in line with that of the cheapest pharmacies (Or at least extremely close) which is amazing considering the likely larger overheads that the business operates under due to location and longer business hours.

The selection of other pharmacy items and Knick knacks that they have on hand is probably the best in Toowoomba short of chemist warehouse, I was amazed to find orbit keys which I’m fighting the urge to impulse buy every time I go in for my scripts.

If you want a local pharmacist with great stock on hand, an extremely competitive pricing scheme and the personal touch/relationship with a pharmacist that you can’t get at chain stores, I wouldn’t recommend any other place in Toowoomba but...

Had a problem with one of my scripts and I was standing there talking to a younger staff member about it and said it's okay if you can't figure it out I'll ask someone next time I come in.. next time I went in they abused me because apparently I yelled and abused this young woman and when I denied it and asked to see the camera footage of me supposedly doing this, they refused because they know it didn't happen and because I was understandably starting to get cranky at the whole situation.. they banned me from the store and told me I wasn't welcome back! Well I have never been so shocked in my life because this young thing got upset because she couldn't help me and made up some fabricated storey. I will never go back here and anyone who asks, I'll be telling them what crappy staff they have employed at this chemist. Not happy at all. Miss needs to grow up and realise she can't help everyone and that's okay but to make up such a story because it upset her... it's...

Never had a problem with this pharmacy previously, excluding the wait times for prescription medications which is always absurd, but after today…. I went in for a script that they texted me I had 7 repeats left of. They claimed they couldn’t find or ‘see’ my scripts, and that I owed them a script (and need to tend to that, rudely)….They were really rude throughout the whole experience, and as it turns out I do have 7 repeats left. No apology, NOTHING BUT attitude. After having the medication in hand, the pharmacist asked me if I could “wait a few minutes while he cleans up my scripts” (which I don’t view as being my responsibility to wait for), to which I told him I have the oven on at home (wasn’t expecting filling a script to take 30 minutes). He then, very sarcastically, asked if I “wanted to tend to my oven, then come back?” (Obviously not). Really disappointed about this level of service...
