I loved the pepper steak pie. The pastry was just right, flaky but not dry. The filling had nice chunks of tender beef and the gravy was delicious and full of flavor - that classic peppery taste. I also had the vanilla slice. This was a top quality product (the pastry was awesome), but rather than a being a classic vanilla slice, it was much closer to a French vanilla slice, and if that's what I was looking for, I would say it was near perfect.
