Gilbert's Motor Museum Strathalbyn — Attraction in Strathalbyn

Great little museum run by local volunteers. $8 entry, tickets at the door. Took my dad for his birthday, Ken who is a volunteer showed us around the museum and told us all about the local history and the storey behind each car. Being a local of the area for 30 years it was really interesting. Ken was very friendly and warm and my dad had the best day there, bringing back so many memories for him. Gilberts is an excellent automotive museum with about 100 vehicles covering a wide range of interests plus thousands of pieces of memorabilia and even an automotive library. Everything is presented very well with excellent information, and the passionate volunteer staff are very willing to share further knowledge.
