Beautiful location with covered play area for kids, covered picnic tables and bbqs, open air gym equipment, bbqs, benches, accessible water when toilets are locked, netted swimming spot, a renovated pier where fishing is allowed, disposal for coals from BYO charcoal bbqs. 24 hr paid parking, which is rude. I can understand it discourages local residents from parking here - and street parking is always full but, I think they should allow 90-120 minutes free parking as a lot of people come here for a walk, use the gym, get kids out of the house for some exercise and/or walk their dogs. Charge after this time so residents don't park there. I haven't seen the gate locked in ages so late night and early morning access seems achievable. BBQs are rarely cleaned and don't run for long but they are hot - so bring some steel wool and a scraper. Toilets are those horrible metal/prison ones and although supposedly cleaned daily [around 5 in the morning] they seem to get dirty really quickly and the walls never seem to be cleaned and look like blood and faeces and probably urine have been smeared on in places. Unfortunately, the toilets are locked super early - probably between 4 and 4.30 pm. A lot of rubbish gets dumped in the parking area in spite of bins being within 10 metres...shame on lazy grubby park users. Usual bird life. Great spot for a walk or outdoor gym exercise with views out onto the bay. I did overhear a very disappointed ranger wanting to issue a ticket for where I parked - he groaned very loudly when he saw I had a disability pass on the dashboard.... but, he promptly booked the car beside. The owners were only there for about 30 minutes and didn't realise they had to pay for parking. Also, there's a bus stop right at the park so public...

Bay View Park is a hidden gem that truly lives up to its name. This park offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding area, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. The lush greenery and well-maintained pathways provide a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

One of the highlights of Bay View Park is its scenic beauty. Whether you're enjoying a leisurely stroll, having a picnic with family, or simply sitting on a bench soaking in the views, this park has a calming effect that's hard to match. The park's location allows visitors to enjoy breathtaking sunsets, which are a must-see.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities, Bay View Park has plenty to offer. There are walking trails, open spaces for sports, and designated picnic areas. It's a great place to spend a day out, whether you're looking to relax or stay active.

Overall, Bay View Park is a beautiful and tranquil place that offers something for everyone. Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat, a scenic spot to admire nature, or a place to enjoy outdoor activities, this park is a...

Sydney's Picnic day at Bayview Park was marvellous. A well set up park with a Canadian monument by the harbour. Has a modern toilet block with adequate parking area. Last Sunday not too crowded but we didn't get there early for parking within grounds, so 2 cars of stuff dropped off then easily parked in the nearby suburban streets. As an older group we were lucky and had a covered area but most families with kids had claimed suitable spaced areas under the trees. Older kids were swimming off the whalf. Many people wandering around had masks. All in all, an...

Nice little park but the park itself is not busy but the council requires you to pay for parking 24/7 which is abit ridiculous imo. There’s a playground, BBQ area, toilet facilities, tables and bench’s right by the water and an exercise area. They do have lots of shades but overall not a great park for dogs to run around but a nice park regardless. The parking makes it lose most of the stars. There is also one bus to get there so overall, it’s def a park that requires a car to get to unless you live near the complexes there.

A large park with ample parking (the parking for the actual park is paid, but there is street parking on Burwood Road just outside). The park is very large, and has all sorts of equipment and facilities. There is ample space for sports or large outdoor picnics or parties. The water view is beautiful and there are often people playing in the water or rowing! There is a nice walking track that you can take along the riverside towards Cabarita!

This is a lovely local beach that offers sand play for littles ones near the Concord and Five Dock suburbs. On a quiet day, there is plenty of parking and heaps of space for a picnic. Put on your sunscreen and head out in the morning to miss the midday heat. Don't forget to bring lunch, a picnic blanket, sand toys and some spare shorts in case the little ones don't have swimmers. You will want to go back again!
