Went there twice, 3 weeks ago and today. First time, ordered a mocha + soy mocha and 2 croissants. Mocha was ok but soy mocha was tasting funny (perhaps the milk they use, I can't tell). We walked away and noticed when got home that only 1 croissant was delivered - we couldn't come back so that was it. Decided to give another try today and ordered iced long black (nice) and iced mocha (average, coffee tasted a bit burned - perhaps we r too picky with coffee) + 2 croissants (delicious!). The cafe is extremely busy which is great to see for a new business, but some urgent adjustments should be made regarding to how they display the food. It’s way too close to where people stand in line while talking no stop. They have a note saying that if you want a croissant from the back trolley, just let them know - which means they acknowledge the issue but instead of addressing it by either placing a glass panel or moving the croissants to the back, they tell people to choose. It's about hygiene so should not be made as optional. In the end, I couldn't tell if my food was picked from the back trolley indeed or not because I was asked to wait outside - so God help me. Staff is lovelly. I really hope this few but important changes are done so I can come back for the...

Martha’s is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm — the staff make everyone feel welcome, taking time to offer thoughtful suggestions based on what you like.

The custard tart was simply divine — silky, perfectly balanced, and nestled in a buttery, crisp pastry that melts in your mouth. But the standout for me was the morning bun: a soft, golden bun filled with caramelised onions, a rich and flavourful meat patty, and a perfectly cooked egg. It was so good I couldn’t resist ordering it twice!

The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, with the smell of freshly baked pastries filling the air and a sense of care in every detail. Martha’s has easily become one of my new...

Martha’s is a gorgeous addition to Wareemba, the matcha, coffee and carrot cake are perfection. The service team are fantastic too, friendly and quick. The design is modern and so refreshing for the area. It’s all on point 👌

The pastry display is the only concern. People lean right over it, and saying “just ask for one from the back” misses the point. Not everyone knows to ask, and how can we guarantee those weren’t at the front before? It also seems wasteful to have perfectly good pastries sitting exposed. With Martha’s style, I’m sure there’s a way to create a display that’s both beautiful AND hygienic.

Great new spot but just had to point out the display...

We visited on a Saturday morning and it was very busy which is great for such a new cafe. I think it will only get busier as the pastries look and taste incredible. We had the pistachio and vanilla pastry which was packed full. Loved the touch of sea salt on top. Excellent coffee too. The busyness did highlight a couple of little teething issues which I felt could be improved like the queue in front of the open pastries and the disposable trays being used even for eat in. Overall, a lot of good things going for this cafe and we will be back.

I finally tried this new cafe in Wareemba as it’s been packed with queues out the door every day since opening recently. Today was a little quieter so I ventured in to peruse their delicious range of freshly baked pastries & sweet treats. So many croissant variants to choose from but I opted for custard tarts & Chocolate/Macadamia cookies. Coffee was great and service fast & friendly. This is definitely worth a try and I hope they’re a massive success and stick around this area for a long time e to come!
