Brookvale Oval — Attraction in Sydney

I went to BROOKVALE Oval last week to watch Penrith and Manly play. What a joke of an experience. I knew it would be bad because a once proud ground that i use to enjoy going to is now called 4 Pines Stadium. This in turn meant that it would be impossible to get a decent beer. I rite of passage is to go to the footy and get a pie and a beer. What made it even worse is they tried to disguise a foul gut wrenching swill (4 pines) that they served as Manly Draught. If i wanted fruit in my beer I would put a peach in it myself. I drink beer because my dad drank beer, he was a man It is not a draft beer why would you label it as such, because you are trying to trick people into buying what can only be described as beer poison. Why would you not sell a product that people might like. Maybe VB. Tooheys New or Carlton draught. Its because you overpaid on your sponsorship rights, and you think you should force feed people garbage. I would rather eat lambs Fry! It gets worse not only do you have no option but to buy such a low fruity liquid but they make you wait 25 minutes to get one. i was not the only one at the ground complaining about the total incompetence of your service. I don't blame the staff and don't have a bad word to say about them. Management on the other hand are totally incompetent and it is obvious you could not run a chook raffle. This is a genuine review and mostly I always give positive reviews. On this occasion you deserve to be roasted....

As a proud Maroon and White fan, I enjoyed every single home game on the Brookie Hill. Great atmosphere. Love the Brookie Hill as always. Would always like to give a 5 stars.

But yesterday, It was ruined by a black Indian security guard near where all the past Sea Eagles legends sit before the game(It was a golden eagles association). I brought some footy cards and tried to get some autographs. As I get closer to the barrier, with no intension to walk into this place, he was very rude and told me that you are not allowed to go in. Yes I knew that the barriers were there for a reason, and there are no needs for you to telling everybody near it, even in a rude and unacceptable way on Sunday Afternoon. Even though I got a couple of signatures from Proud Maroon and White legends, I was still furious with the way I was treated by this Indian Security guard. Same things happened about 1hr earlier, with a white security guard standing next to the gate. He gave me the permission to enter as soon as he learnt that I'm trying to get an Mark Bryant's signature, with Bryant standing in a visible spot from the security guard's point of view. Based on this, I would only give a 1 star. ( I would like to give 0)

In average, I would only give 3.

If you are trying to enjoy the atmosphere, just make to avoid any sort of eye contacts with security guards, unless it is absolutely necessary. Otherwise everything...
