Fantastic place to spend a day or just an afternoon. We were lucky to get gorgeous views of the sun over the Hawkesbury river just before sunset. Nice walking path parallel to river, ample grass area to set up picnic next to the river.
For children: Big, gated, clean play equipment area (with swings, slides, flying foxes). There’s also water play area in summer.
Unisex Toilets are next to the children play area. These are also wheelchair accessible.
Picnic tables and some shaded picnic tables on either side of the children play area.
Parking available & ample street parking.
All in all one can spend just half hour watching the views offered by this place & get refreshed or spend the whole day, which will be totally worth it.

Read moreThis park is underdevelopment. The playground has been finished and is a very good one. They have a xylophone, water feature/sprinkler, tunnel and bridge, wheelchair accessible merry-go-round, mini trampolines at ground level, they also have a drinking bubbler, shade under a big tree, and other subtle decorative art features. Looks like they may put other facilities in soon. They also have a shaded set of picnic tables with a single gas bbq. This picnic area would not hold a large number, but it is still a good place to come to with your kids. There is also a nice Riverside walk which is wheelchair accessible. This is an excellent product of government funding that will serve many now and...
Read moreGreat park. Lots for kids to see and explore. Has in-ground trampolines, mirrors, tunnels, a slide, animal statues to find, a birds nest swing, seating for parents, a platform that spins (no idea what they are called), and a water park that’s activated by a button (all parents try and avoid drawing attention to it during winter, but once the Button is pressed, the secret is out! Recommend bringing spare clothes and a towel). There’s also barbecue facilities nearby. The lark is fenced, which is food because it’s right next to the river. The river itself is beautiful, worth a walk before leaving. I don’t recall seeing any bathroom facilities but I also wasn’t...
