Windsor is lacking in good places to dine, so what a find Crepe Escape is! I ordered the pulled pork crepe (although they have burgers, steak etc on the menu also) and it was really good. The pork was melt in the mouth and it came with a nice side salad. The portion size was perfect.
We elected to have dessert, and I enjoyed my Creme Brulee. The custard consistency was silky and the delectable layer of hardened sugar made this a 5 star dessert. I My partner ordered the Apple Crumble crepe and a warning here.... this is a huge dessert! It could easily serve two people and lucky me, I got to help him finish it. This was truly the stand out dish, with a beautiful mix textures and complimentary flavours. Service was efficient and friendly, and we will definitely return as I'm keen to try one of the sinful looking burgers.
The wine list isn't extensive but we had a nice glass of Pinot Grigio for $10 each. Not sure if you can BYO which may be an...
Read moreWe have been going here for a few years now and I don’t know what has happened! It use to feel so warm and inviting but we went last night and couldn’t wait to leave. All was great when trying to take her order but then no service they didn’t check in to see if we wanted more drinks or how our meal was nothing. They came collected our empty glasses half way through our meal and didn’t say anything tried to get their attention many times but no luck one waiter just looked at us as if he didn’t know what he was meant to do. Once they collected our plates we waited 20 mins for someone to ask if we wanted anything else before just deciding to leave ourself. Then while paying no questions about how our food was nothing just here pay this on eftpos. Won’t be going back and so sad after going weekly for...

Seems there is new management/owners and the quality has plummeted. Crepe came out cold, eggs were very watery, tomato relish was basically just tomato, NO bacon at all and they though it was fine to just plonk some on a plate next to me. To top it all off the avocado was a crunchy as a carrot.
So sad that one of our go to breakfast places has fallen so far from the place it use to be.
Atmosphere was dead, barely anyone in the place at breakfast on a Saturday when it use to be packed, despondent staff, and an all round awkward feeling in the place. If you're expecting a quality breakfast go to one of the other cafes...
