This was a great experience. I went here for lunch, I ordered a chicken salad it was already premade from the fridge but it was delicious and fresh. The store layout was very pleasant, neat and clean. They sell pies, sausage rolls, cakes, drinks, milkshakes, thickshakes even some smoothies. They even have food gift packages. The food presentation behind the glass cabinets which were cakes were fresh and very well presented to die for. The three ladies were very friendly and should be commended for their customer service. It is small inside but they have table and chairs on the outside to cater for eating diners. Very quaint and the decorations were lovely and excellent showing the town (Windsor) history. I just loved it and the way they decorated the bakehouse. On the tables inside which were two showed photos of it's town history such as the goal, courthouse and other historic buildings very well organised in the making of this Bakehouse. They also have coffee which was well made. A well organised menu also. I recommend this place to anyone! A lovely and delightful experience. Well done ladies two thumbs up! 👍👍

WHAT A HORRIBLE RUDE PERSON! Food was barely warm and the attitude was ice cold. Hours shown as 6.30am - 4pm We arrived at 3.10pm Large selection of pies still on display. We ordered pies and a sausage roll which were automatically placed in takeaway bags by the woman serving us. When I said that we'll eat it there we were told in an abrupt voice, "Well you can sit outside but we'll be clearing up around you!" Got the impression that she didn't want us there at all. Ordered a coffee and that came in a take away cup, it was lukewarm and only 2/3 full. It had sugar in it and I don't take sugar. Why it had sugar is a mystery as there are sugar sachets on the table outside. Threw most of it in the bin. Here's a tip. If you don't want 'Eat In' customers after 3pm Then serve take away only at that time of day and explain that politely! Or close the shop at 3pm and not at 4pm. Sorry we inconvenienced you with our business. It won't happen again!

I was excited to finally try these pies as they offer a great variety. However, I was really disappointed with the carbonara and curry pies – they were mostly pastry with barely any filling. At $26 for three pies, I expected much better, especially when cheaper options from a petrol station offer more value. The cheese and bacon pie was excellent – definitely a 9/10 and the only one worth the money. Sadly, the overall experience didn't live up to the hype.

Ordered our wedding cake with this bakery months in advance. I was communicating with them, they took my deposit and sent a confirmation of my order. When it came to the weeks before our wedding I contacted them again and they stopped emailing me back.

I felt uneasy about the lack of communication so I went into the bakery to talk to them. The lady at the counter said there was no record of my order, no record of my deposit and that there was no one to bake our wedding cake.

Note that no one had contacted me to tell me that they had no one to bake our wedding cake. The lady at the counter apologised profusely and didn't know what was going on.

I eventually heard back from them and was told that the only person who could bake our cake was on a flight to the UK due to a personal matter. While I can understand this, what I don't understand is why no one contacted me to find an alternative option and why they lost the order and deposit. At least they gave the deposit back and apologised.

Disappointing and...

What a pleasant surprise! I was in Windsor with my family, cousin and aunt from overseas for a day trip around the area. An Australian tour simply cannot be completed without a traditional Australian meat pie! I knew nothing about this place prior. This little cute bakery looks clean, has a large selection of pies and prices were reasonable. I was hungry and wanted a quick bite. Between the 8 of us, we ordered 5 pies, the beef cheese bacon, beef steak, beef mushroom, 2 lamb and rosemary. The common consensus were lamb and rosemary was the winner! The pies had a good proportion of sauce and meat, flavours were great, the pastry were fluffy and soft, temperature of the pies were spot on (you’ll be surprise how many pie shop serves cold pies, even famous pies shops). For the rest of the day, we had famous apple pie, Australian snacks and a local buffet. After a long day of travelling and food, our cousin was still reminiscing about the lamb and rosemary pie. That says alot. Keep up...
