Hermit Beach is located at Vaucluse and has the Hermitage Foreshore track running along it, it's a small Beach with great city skyline views. Hermitage Beach in Vaucluse, Sydney, is a secluded and picturesque hidden gem, beloved by locals for its tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views. It's not the place for big crowds or a bustling cafe scene, but that's exactly its appeal. Review of Hermitage Beach: This small, sandy beach is nestled along the famous Hermitage Foreshore Walk, offering a unique and peaceful escape from the city. The main draw is the incredible panorama of Sydney's iconic skyline, with clear views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The waters are generally calm and protected, making it a great spot for a relaxing swim, snorkel, or just a quiet picnic under the natural shade of surrounding trees.. It's important to note that Hermitage Beach is a "no-frills" experience. There are no lifeguards, public restrooms, or cafes directly on the beach, so you need to come prepared with everything you'll need for your visit. Street parking is available but can be limited, especially on warm weekends. The lack of amenities, however, contributes to its secluded and pristine feel. Surrounding Attractions: Hermitage Beach is a highlight of the Hermitage Foreshore Walk, an easy, scenic coastal trail that connects Nielsen Park in Vaucluse to Bayview Hill Road in Rose Bay. The walk is a destination in itself, and a great way to explore the area. Along the trail, you'll encounter a number of other attractions: Nielsen Park & Shark Beach: A popular, family-friendly beach with a cafe, enclosed swimming area, and a large grassy park perfect for picnics. It's a great spot to start or end your walk. Strickland House: A beautiful heritage-listed mansion with stunning grounds that are part of the walking track. It adds a touch of history and grandeur to the coastal scenery. Milk Beach: Another small, secluded beach along the walk, known for its incredible views and as a popular spot for wedding photography and New Year's Eve fireworks. Vaucluse House: A historic estate with a beautiful 19th-century house and extensive gardens, offering a glimpse into colonial life. Parsley Bay Reserve: A charming enclosed swimming area with a unique footbridge, surrounded by bushland. For those who enjoy a bit of an adventure, the Federation Cliff Walk is also nearby, offering dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean from rugged sandstone cliffs.

Súper quiet beach, very nice to see the sunset. You have sun the whole day, you can also choose to stay in the sand or the grass and there are also some trees to have some shadow if needed. The walk you have to do to get there is also very beautiful.

Gorgeous little gem. Overgrown at the moment, which might be normal but certainly adds an enchanting vibe. Lots of people walking by on the walk but we had the beach to ourselves. Magical :)
