Belle Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

Unbelievably rude staff serving. I had been going here to get my coffee before work on a Sunday morning. This morning I went in and there and there was a French girl " serving". I was the only person at the counter. She ignored me and served a man who came in behind me. When she finished serving him she pretty much just glared at me, and didn't say anything. Then she said " What ?" I have no idea why she was being so rude so I was a bit thrown. I said I'd like to order something. She actually rolled her eyes and sighed and said " What" again. I felt so uncomfortable with that level of hostility I told her politely that given that she'd ignored me and was now being exceptionally rude that not to worry about my order, and I'd go elsewhere. My mind is blown that someone who is dealing with customers could be that hostile. What a way to run a business. Went to the cafe next door and got friendly service. Giving one star because I...

Absolutely love this place. When it’s packed, it’s really packed: but the team somehow keeps things moving with total grace (and a bit of caffeine-fuelled gymnastics).

When it’s calm, you can actually soak up how lovely everyone is behind the counter: just good vibes, great coffee, and genuine people.

Special shoutout to Jamie, the fearless “captain,” and to the ever-wonderful baristas Meg and Daniella; Jay-Jay, Sandra, Sunita, and Jayce; you all bring your best every single day and your smiles!! girls slayin.

Ive ordered Big Brekkie and Corn Fritters. The Big Brekkie was fine but the corn fritters was terrible, really thick and dry, then i went back to the counter to change my order and they weren’t very pleased to do it. So i had to take 2 smoothies instead, one of them was really hot and i had to go back again to take some ice for it. Never coming back here. Its really bad way to...
