We had our beautiful amazing Wedding Ceremony here, under the Rotunda. Absolutely Amazing, If you are looking for elegance, with grace and charm, then you have come to the right place. We had purchased the Empress Package.and paid 9 months in advance, So we were good to go. on 22/02/2020 D-Day, it was raining, not heavy tho, but enough to use the umbrella. . And in my Maori culture , this also means tears of joy, for those who are no longer with us, that could not make the journey to be present. The rain subsided for that sheer moment of glory, 50 guests waiting under the Rotunda, decorated just for us, it was Amazing, I felt so special. So if your wondering if all the guests got wet under the Rotunda the answer is NO. Yes this is the local park, so Yes you will have people on the grounds watching your ceremony, but hey, your so caught up in the moment , that you forget they are even there. its all good. In fact , the extra faces gathering were very respectful..Wearing my Traditional Korowai (cloak), made our day even more special. So a Big shout out to those generous people who dressed up the Ceremony, and a grand gesture of thanks to Amanda Pavlovic so much for attending the Ceremony, and allowing us to have this joyous occasion here. Amanda was great , she kept in touch with us in the lead up to the Wedding, as well as being in attendance on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. A gigantic applause and Loving Gratitude to Lillian Lyon our Celebrant. Who was there with us every step of the way, her guidance and support was astounding, and we couldn’t have chosen a better Celebrant. So if your looking for somewhere to have your Wedding, and your looking for a Celebrant Look No further...Its All Right Here. At Merrylands...

Now it seems that there are plenty of new developments nearby, and the park is bustling full of people. These gardens are really an amazing place to go play ball, bike around in the circuits and run around in the playground, even though it isn't as big anymore (and no longer wooden, hence...
Read moreThis park is awesome and for all ages. Good to walk on the tracks, there's a massive playset for the kids, so take them there to wear them out. There is an old brickworks there (not in use anymore) just to explore and learn about. Perfect for wedding photos. There is a pond with ducks and a small walkway over the water. The park is usually always clean. They hosted a fun Australia Day festival there with fireworks at the end. It was secure and fun. You can play a small game of footy with mates, play catch, zoom down the hill on your bike or skateboard. There is also a makeshift bike/scooter course with tiny roundabouts for kids or even maybe adults who are learning how to ride. There are even little crossings and stop...
