Howard Park is the centrepiece for childhood fun for all ages in developer Dart West’s thriving Gregory Hills community. Connected to the north end of La Valla Park and conveniently located between the newly opened Gregory Hills Town Centre and the site of the future Gregory Hills Public School, Howard Park is at the heart of Gregory Hills.

Howard Park’s many, many attractions include: A fenced-off area for toddlers to play safely in that includes a sandpit, a slide and a log garden. An assortment of play equipment suitable for school age children, including slides, tunnels, swings of all shapes and sizes, a huge climbing net, rock climbing, and more slides. A multi-use hardcourt sports facility for older kids catering for basketball, soccer, table tennis, and roller sports. The surface of the play area and surrounds is landscaped with synthetic turf, natural gardens, and protective foam matting that absorbs the force of...

Such a great playground. My 3yo was excited at the very sight of it from afar. It's hard to miss the giant yellow and red sailshades. I thought it was the circus at first :p

The park has something for all ages from 0-primary. I loved the gated toddler section which my very adventurous and curious toddler was content to play inside for 30 minutes!!

Note on parking: it wasn't immediately obvious where to park. I did a huge loop and some head scratching before I figured out you're meant to park at Home & Co shopping centre parking lot and can access the playground from there. Entrance is to the left of MadMex.

A slight con is no toilets onsite but a quick stroll over to the shops has an accessible bathroom with a changetable. Would be great if the centre could get a parent...

The equipment at this park is impressive to say the least. There is so much climbing equipment and I was happy to see some huge shade sails protecting the vast majority of the playground. There is a dedicated, fenced, toddler area separate from the main area. Table tennis tables, a half basketball court and lots of places to sit. There is no parking at the park - you too need to park at the shipping centre and walk across. There are also no toilets which is a huge oversight. Overall a great park and one we will happily visit again.

Great park. Awesome for kids aged 2-12. Climbing nets, sand play area, swings, slides, ping pong table and half basketball court. The play area is mostly covered. Downside to the park is that there is limited shaded areas to sit at and NO toilets! There is only a water bubbler. Also, council should probably consider more bins as the bins are overloaded and placed enough around the park. The kids will love this park.
