ZERO!! This rating reflects the rude and unapologetic lady who owns the restaurant
arrive at the restaurant 745 pm, 15-20 to place the order waiting patiently and then the starters arrive 35 minutes later give or take (50 min since we walked in) customers arrive after us ( group of 5), and they get the food and leave even before we could be served our mains waiting patiently and being civil first main dish touch down but then the owner takes the food away, she says oh this is not your order (in a tone that indicates that we brought that wrong food to our table), walks away with the food that we served ourselves unknowingly and she does not apologise finally our food is coming staggered to our table, coming up to 90 minutes since we walked through the doors of this god forsaken restaurant (appetite lost by then) the owner is making rounds making small talks (maybe she knows she stuffed up) and approaches my table and we have a conversation upon being asked about our experience (god I wished she never had to ask me that) .. we were honest about our experience and told her about the excruciating long wait to be served food her response seems to be very standard “ you enjoyed your starters so it’s okay to wait for mains, we receive a lot of orders” that’s right lady and it is my problem to understand that you have bitten more than you can chew! my feedback about being able to forecast busy nights was responded with “so you want me to prepare food in advance”, no your highness, forecasting involves adequate staff and potentially not allowing online orders (yes, it is possible to do that) so that you can serve the walk in customers especially the ones who have waited longer than they are supposed to
This lady does not understand that in hospitality, service is key, good restaurants are a dime a dozen and you don’t even qualify as good so you need to take that bad attitude, put it in a environmentally friendly jar and throw it in the pacific, oh and yes, own up and learn to say SORRY for when you have stuffed up.
If she can argue, get defensive and does not accept feedback when she goes around table asking for one, I feel sorry for the customers who have ruined their evenings much like myself and family including her hard working staff
Taste of India offering free food, umm no thank you, I’d give the Thai restaurant next door a fair go!
Save your money and time and hopefully you read this before you decide to pay just to get acquainted by a rude owner with no manners and to be left with a bad taste in your mouth.

Our reservation was for 7pm and by 8pm our entrees hadn't even been served. We had to chase up the drinks multiple times and watched as all the tables who ordered after us were served their meals first. Entrees finally came and WERE COLD so we had to send them back. It was like they had been sitting there for an hour before being brought out to us. The last straw was when a table of 10 seated behind us and who ordered at least 40 minutes after us were served their entrees and mains. By this time, the restaurant was mostly empty and we had been there for 2 hours waiting. Not once did anyone come to check on us and when we asked about the food, the response was "its coming" The owner/manager then had the audacity to argue with us when we got up to leave because our mains were being "prepared". We paid for the entrees and she argued with us over the drinks! Didn't even offer an appolgy. How on earth do you expect people to sit around and wait 2 hours for their food? Is 2 hours not sufficient time to get your act together? We left hungry at 9pm and with a bitter taste in our mouth after the encounter with the owner/manager. If your response to us leaving had been conducted in a professional manner, maybe we would have waited a little while longer but I'm positive I would not have posted this review. There is no excuse to treat customers the way we were treated tonight. We literally waited patiently for 2 hours and then copped the blame for leaving. Beyond mortified with our experience tonight. Such a shame considering its been open for a couple weeks and we wanted to support a local restaurant. Unless you're willing to wait 2 hours for cold food, avoid this place! I drove 20km to go here and eat today and i will never ever again go there and eat even if it was walking distance.
I ordered biryani ($22 on the paper menu given upon being seated). The biryani was reheated and the meat looked old. As soon as i left the restaurant, i had severe heartburn.
Furthermore, when i went to pay, i was told the biryani is $25 when on the physical menu it was $22. When i asked for the menu to take a picture of the pricing, the waitress refused to give it to me and instead told me to get the "new" prices by scanning the QR code. She also pointed out that they have a sign (when you go to pay and not upon entering) saying their prices have gone up, which is fair enough. However, the biryani amount was written down as $22 after $20 was crossed off.
I told them i'd be making a complaint, when i assume it was the owner/manager (bald guy) who jumped in and rudely started telling me that prices everywhere has gone up. I hope you're reading this because as i was trying to tell you in the restaurant but you kept being rude, that i understand that BUT the menu said $22 not $25. LEGALLY, you are in the wrong.
He also tried telling me that eventually the prices will come back down. Mate, i don't care about prices going back down because i'm never coming back to your restaurant and would never advise anyone to gi there either.
My advice to anyone wanting to eat there: make sure you confirm the price before ordering because you may end up paying more than you thought you were paying for.
I couldn't care less about the $3, it's what you guys are doing which is wrong. It's right over wrong but wow, what dishonesty and rudeness.
