The bus service they ran from central station today was horrible. Rude staff shouting next to my ears three time at different people on the bus. Saying their arms were outside of the bus…to be fair, their hands were within the bus and they were all audits. Why did he have to scream so loud in the bus while there were so many other people in the bus??? I didn’t do anything but got screamed at next to ears??? Also the words he used was rude like “I said it already, dont put your hands out!!!!!!!” They really should work on their staff to talk nicely…shouting and being rude it not the solution…writing this because my mood was ruined…very disappointed

A must to do!!! Sydney Bus Museum is a hidden gem with plenty of surprises. If you like to explore the history of public transport in Sydney and experience some exposure to the past, don't hesitate. The biggest surprise was the ride with antique bus through streets of Sydney. It takes 40 min and is a return trip to city., Town Hall Station. If you buy your ticket online, could have the option to use this bus trip to reach to the museum. A great weekend option for families as the museum offers heaps of activities for children. Highly recommended!!!

A wonderfully nostalgic visit to re-capture some of the sights and smells from childhood. Our trip started with a ride from Leichhardt to the Queen Victoria Building and back, in a vintage double decker. We spent the next 90 clambering in and around dozens of buses, from ancient to almost current. Having grown up in London, much to my surprise I found a 176, which I almost certainly would have ridden on during my misspent youth. Lots to see and do, regardless of age, makes the Sydney Bus Museum a worthy place to spend some time.

We had a wonderful day out at the bus museum. There are several new displays, so if you haven't been for a while, the team at the museum have something special in store for you. We caught the (heritage) bus from Town Hall, just outside Hungry Jack's, to the museum. The favourite new display was the bus signage, where we now have the ability to change the route and destination on the signs. I won't spoil all the surprises... As always, the volunteers were fabulous, answering the many questions fired at them from the kids.

The Sydney Bus Museum is a fantastic destination for anyone interested in the history of transportation in Australia. The museum's collection is extensive and well-maintained, featuring a wide variety of buses from different eras. The museum also offers a fun and educational experience for children. Parking is available at William Street but very limited, or you can try to find one along the park. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the Sydney Bus Museum for a unique and enjoyable experience.

Absolutely excellent place to spend a day! So many different vintage buses from all different eras in Sydney transport. Good exhibition on WWII buses and they often do theme days like Double Deckers, Hong Kong, Western Sydney, London, Mercedes-Benz, etc. They also do a shuttle service between the QVB in the city and the Museum over the ANZAC bridge, which is a lot of fun on the double deckers. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and do great tours and are good at answering questions.
