Imagine not eating the whole day and looking forward to having a dinner and not enjoying any of it at all…
Four different dishes have been ordered for three of us and none of those dishes were worth having.you would think that you can’t screw up pizza but these guys will prove you wrong-half cooked with subpar quality ingredients is not what a pizza should be, in my opinion anyway.
Lack of passion for food and customer service clearly translated into the experience we have received and we won’t be coming back.
Areas for improvement: 1)provide each customer with a menu, not just one menu for the whole group. 2)try to be friendly when taking orders, this is part of a good customer service. 3)Ask questions when you are not sure, don’t make assumptions. 4)Balance out the use of ingredients in the dish so one ingredient doesn’t overpower. 5)Put more love and passion into everything you do,this will positively affect the food and service you provide, not everything is just about making money and clipping...

The place is definitely rustic and very much a family pizzeria with the owners son at the helm of the pizza station at the front of the restaraunt (I was informed that this was their 30th year of business). The kids ordered pizzas in small sizes which was perfect portion for them, the salmon pasta special and a medium pizza for the adults.
The pizzas were delicious with thin base, tomatoe sauce with depth of flavour and a balanced amount of toppings. Similarly the pasta tasted like something out of nona's kitchen. The restaurant is byo so take your favourite wine - we had a nice Chianti recommended by the Italian grocerer next to the restaraunt. The pricing is very reasonable but remember to take cash as they are cash only. I finished my meal with a macchiato which...
Read moreExtremely cramped place with waiters pushing against your chair trying to get to other tables. The menu does not even have prices on it which is outrageous, menus NEED prices. Honestly the food was terrible, there was no flavour in the spaghetti bolognese and the pesto fettuccini was also flavourless. Table water wasn’t provided, the table cloth was cheap plastic, and the menus were bent laminated paper. Also there were no childrens menu options so you had to buy an adult dish. Never in my life have I been to an Italian restaurant with such a high reputation and extremely poor delivery. Has the place been sold? I’m extremely confused because this place was recommended by many people.
