I order the same thing twice a week via uber eats, do u think they get that order right? They don't. Every time I say add soy sauce the won't so today I said I'll pay for it to b separate, no sauce infact they gave me dry prawn chips which is all ilk b eating because it infuriates me they can't just get it right. B4 y'all say order elsewhere it's only 1 49 delivery fee I gave no choice combined with my disability I'm stuck ordering from places that take advantage of that. Till I started speaking out about it as of now I'm tired of not eating the meal cos they fail to read notes that request its added. Sure I could go buy some, in a taxi that will cost me $ 20+. Do better fortuna stop ruining my bank and appetite twice a week and add the sauce requested it's not like u got no soy sauce. Geez it's the difference between eating the dry rice and not. Tonite again I won't b eating it or the dry prawn chips I was given that i didn't order instead of the sauce i did order, very dry meal, so I just have sprite thank someone I purchased a $6 drink and will have some sugar TO TIE ME OVER TILL TOMORROW. Ordered same again today look at the stark differences on same item Ordered the inconsistencies r terrible. So u know the delivery is only 99c if u eat alot of uber as I do delivery is only worth 99c when u see the higher prices paid for regular menu items. What is all the black things? I didn't order the black things or the egg it never comes with egg or black things. Moral of the story don't give reviews unless they r positive because they treat u worse. The last photo shows a hair and what xan only b described as extra moisture, I didn't order extra moisture either. I see the reviews have gone way down since 9 months ago mayb check ur kitchen staff for appropriate food safety certificates because I'm reporting that to the health department that's so wrong. It's in the freezer now awaiting collection that's...
Read moreEasily my top 3 Chinese restaurant in my stay here in Sydney.
My personal favourites are the Gow Gees Dumplings (hakaw), Fried Calamari, and Satay.
Choose whatever satay you want from the options and you will not be disappointed. It works well on its own but definitely better with rice.
The prices are definitely worth it. The servings are easily good for two people or for people with big appetite even the dumpling are bigger than usual sizes.
Always order with special fried rice. This is flavourful and rightly seasoned. The umami can be a bit strong for you if you prefer on the bland side but this is one of those Chinese places that I don’t need to further season my food. Good on its own.
This is also a good place for family celebrations and you will definitely get a bang for the buck.
Big bonus and the real winner of this place are the staff. They treat you like royalty and moves efficiently with the service. Have a couple more visits and they are now your friends.
P.S. If you’re taking away, call ahead and you will get your order taken care of...
Read moreLet's be clear, this is a good takeaway and a nice clean restaurant that is providing Chinese food for a western palate. Great for a local, but not worth a long drive. But if you go in expecting a good Chinese take out dish, you will be happy here.
The staff are great, the food is good value, and it's super kid friendly. Will return for the salt and pepper tofu and look forward to trying the other dishes, but would personally avoid their chow mein as it's not to my taste. Fried rice was decent and for the amount you get, it's undeniably great value.
Edit: We went again and the food was great and the service even better than I remembered. Kids loved the short soup, the special fried rice had good wok hei and the pork fillet was soft. Highlight for me was the crispy skin chicken though, such good value, meat was juicy and tender, and loved the salt and pepper mix to dip the skin into. I also really appreciated getting a fortune cookie and a chocolate mint - we just don't get that anywhere...
